Online Study Abroad

Not often that I leave reviews but am happy to oblige the review request on this occasion. The course is properly equipped with everything from well thought out wording (mostly easily understandable language) to problem-solving tasks about classroom issues and the flow of a full lesson. There's a heap of really cerebral information and questions to make you at least think about being in the situation of a real teacher. I've never taught before, didn't have any base knowledge of it before, but now feel like I can at least stand up in front of a class and get my lesson done to an okay standard. The resources they provide are far beyond my expectations for the cheap price of the course and my recruiter said the certificate will easily be accepted for South Korea for my EPIK application and other hakwon(?) jobs if I don't get the public school route. I now need to figure out which pathway is best for me before getting any interviews under my belt. One last thing I just remembered is that at the end of the course there's a heap of job help documents like cover letter maker and that kind of thing. I'll be making use of their interview questions cheat-sheet!

Finished a few minutes ago and downloaded both a normal looking certificate and one that it says I can print by myself. The main difference I can see is there’s no border on the latter and no golden stamp. But both have a qr. The course was simple enough to work through and has given me a full bag of resources and information to take to my first class, whenever that’ll be!

Can’t complain as it was all there and the price was peanuts. Got good mileage out of the lessons and liked the freebies at the end. Only thing that bothered me was not having access to a number to call before purchase. It’s legit, but a phone number would’ve helped me get to that place earlier

I was a complete beginner in Mandarin, so it was definitely challenging at first, but also very rewarding. Everyone here is very kind and always willing to help, which makes the classes even better. Besides the language itself, I also learned a lot about Chinese culture, history, beliefs, and everyday life. The classes focused more on practical communication, which made learning feel natural and useful. I really recommend this program, especially for people starting from zero.

I'm currently doing one on one classes and have been really enjoying it so far. It’s been a very good environment for me to learn, especially seeing people from various kinds of backgrounds with a passion for learning Chinese has been really motivating for me.Classes have been really enjoyable as both teachers are very fun and easy going!

I loved how attractive and smooth the course skin was. It was interactive, modern, self paced and has video coverage. The value is outstanding. Units on online teaching and putting games into lessons made this perfect for me.

I had a great experience here. I highly recommend my teacher Ella, as she really helped me to improve my level of spoken Chinese. She shared a lot of interesting insights about the local culture and we had a really good time. I really learned a lot and feel more comfortable in speaking Chinese now. This school is a wonderful place where to learn Chinese. My teacher named tina is very fantastic, she helped me to improve a lot from 0 knowledge of Chinese language. Thank you guys for everything. I completed the A1 course for a week, which gave me enough time to understand the basics. Everyone here is very helpful and there are many people from around the world, who will be very helpful. They will not only teach you the language but also help you to understand the culture better as well as the meaning behind the words. All in all a great course.

I had the pleasure of studying Mandarin here, and I can confidently say my Chinese teacher is excellent and highly competent. Sun teacher's lessons go far beyond the textbook: very skillfully integrate real-life situations into the curriculum, making the learning experience both practical and engaging. He also takes the time to explain important aspects of Chinese culture, which adds great depth to the classes. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn Mandarin in a serious but supportive and enriching environment.

The program is overall quite good. When compared with other options it is a bit pricy, but it is all inclusive so can be worth while if you are looking for all inclusive. When it comes to teachers,my Chinese teacher named Jennie who were both extremely high quality. I really recommend it.

My experience in this school so far has been very fun and exciting! Even though I’ve not participated in many group outings I feel like part of a welcoming community. She makes the classes fun and we spend time on various aspects including learning new content, revising existing content, speaking exercises and listening exercises. She mixes things up and there is never a dull moment. She took her time to really understand my goals and is always thinking of how to help me. She also encourages me to speak to locals in mandarin and sometimes accompanies me helping me to get the conversation started. I always believe that a good company is nothing without strong communication from its staff, so I was pleasantly surprised that my emails were always answered by someone who was very human and very friendly. my question was answered within a couple of hours before I paid for the TEFL course and when I needed help with understanding a concept (I think it was about TPR for adults but my memory is suffering today), Jonny(?) gave me a really thoughtful response. I imagine most of these courses have the same information and structure anyway, but I'm super satisfied with the full deal.

Learning at Silk Mandarin is a great experience! The teachers are very knowledgable, encouraging, and accomodating. The location is super convenient to get to and the building and classrooms are welcoming. Apart from the part-time lessons they also hosted a Mahjong session which was super fun. I'll definitely return for HSK-2. Highly recommend!

I really liked the chinese lessons at this school. Teacher Wan an excellent teacher! She was very helpfull and listened well. Even when I did not always pronouced the words right, she still could understand what I meant. So we spoke a lot of chinese in the lessons, which improved my chinees speaking a lot. She was also very clear in how to explain the right way to speak. This school also organizes a lot of fun get-togethers, so you can meet the other students. I really loved that very much.

My experience at Schönberg Education was a wonderful one. When I was searching for a language school, I did a lot of research, and Schönberg Education turned out to be the best choice I could have made.
