140-Hour Master TEFL Course

I were a little hesitant yet after a considerable degree of research I settled with my choice of the 140 hour course through MyTEFL confidently. The 3 month time limit is a beneficial impetus so I weren’t blasé about completing it. Well structured and easy to follow and review modules if necessary; website being exceptionally easy to navigate and continue my progress fluidly.

Before this course, I really have no idea what TEFL is and what is for but now that I have completed it, it gave me a lot of lessons that I can carry when I start teaching one on one classes. It is so amazing to be able to have a refresher on the grammar stuff and i am glad i did this course. Finishing it, is one thing. Now I am moving on to application

This online course was flexible, self paced, and allowed for extensions if needed to complete. I was able to study on my computer and tablet. I enjoyed the easy to use and relevant coursework. I highly recommend using myTEFL!

I finished the 140 -Hour Master TEFL course and to be honest it is one of the most elaborate yet concise structured programme of study pertaining to the rudimentary structure of the English Language I have ever embarked upon. It will take you back to the basics and you will learn pertinent things from modules imperative to your TEFL journey. You will also find the quizzes quite interesting as they are set to ascertain your level of comprehension after each completed module. You will also find correspondence With myTEFL staff quite seamless as they are polite and to the point adding professionalism to your online experience with minimal delays on response time in regards email inquiries. Definitely a plus! myTEFL courses are important and relevant for people who want to meet new people, are in search of adventure or just need a career change and love to teach. I would definitely recommend any of the MyTEFL courses. They are great for stability and the process of acquiring the "Know How" acumen needed to Teach English as a foreign language abroad in a classroom or virtually online.

Fairly in-depth course focusing on some very good points such as grammar, vocabulary, and teaching practices. There were some areas that looked to need some updating. Post-certification support has been good, however the link to order a hardcopy of the certificate was not working, easy fix though as an email to them was able to provide the needed support.

I had fun taking the course there were alot of questions that challenged me to help further along my education. I like that my money goes to a good cause a d that I can refer back later if need be. I would recommend this course

I really learned alot about teaching threw out the course. I decided on this program because I can always refer back to my work and refresh later if need be. I also like that money goes to a good cause. Some of the questions challenged me as in english some of the answers could be both but not always and they look for a direct answer but I enjoyed learning what the more accurate answer was. I chose the 140hr class to feel the most prepared I could to teach English and I certainly do upon completion! I learned bits and pieces about English that I'd forgotten since leaving school and it was easy to brush up and re-learn what I needed to feel confident. The course is easy to navigate, the pacing is done well, and the exams are frequent so you're better able to retain information along the way. I'd recommend this course to those who enjoy taking courses at their own pace. You also have the option of extending for another 1-3 months in case life gets busy. Excited for the opportunities this course will help bring about!

I chose to take the 140hr course to best prepare myself for teaching abroad and I'm glad I did! The course is easy to navigate and set up in a way where you can clearly see how much material you've covered and how far you still have to go. If life gets busy and you need to extend your course time, you can in one or three month increments. The exams were frequent throughout the course so you are better able to process smaller pieces of information at a time. You can work through at your own pace and the supports of tutoring and job placement are for life. I felt very supported and I'd recommend this program!

I currently teach students whose first language is not English, and my job required me to pursue additional certifications to better support my ESOL learners. As a lifelong learner with a travel bug, I was looking for something to do after my early retirement next year. I was so happy when I found the myTEFL program because it was exactly what I was looking for. I completed my 140 hour online course last night, and it was a wonderful experience! It was comprehensive and brought up challenges that I hadn't considered before - particularly with online teaching. I have never done that before, and there are things I will have to change in my lesson plans to make them more effective. I appreciate that the course offered a lot of good tips and techniques to prepare you to succeed as a TEFL teacher. I am also looking forward to checking out the online library for suggestions and ideas to improve my lesson plans. Of course, I will eventually check out the job placement section as well. Whether you are a seasoned classroom teacher or a recent graduate, I highly recommend you any of these convenient and thorough online programs. You won't regret it, and it will only make you a better teacher.

Highly recommend this course, especially to folks who may be on the fence about taking the leap. MyTEFL put so much thought into the structure of this course and the materials. As an English major working in technical writing, I can say that MyTEFL thoroughly prepares their students to be not only well equipped teachers, but also efficient and culturally conscious. The team at MyTEFL really folded into the course key elements to be aware and of various exercise approaches to engage students effectively. I really appreciated that the course is organized to test students after each section, so you are truly focused on the content in front of you. You can tell they genuinely want to set their students up for success! Also would love to say, that every email correspondence I have had with the team at MyTEFL has been beyond wonderful, they are very attentive, quick to respond and a pleasure to connect with! I just completed my 140 Master tefl course and it is definitely worth it. As a new comer to the world of teaching English abroad, they give you all of the details and information you will need to better prepare yourself and what to expect as a new instructor. I did my 140-hour TEFL certification entirely from my phone. It took me about 6 weeks, but I worked a little bit every day. It can be done in at least half the time if you can study full-time. Even the grammar sections were easy to understand! I currently volunteer as an ESL teacher so I was able to apply what I learned immediately, and it helped my lessons improve. I haven’t used the job assistance yet, but I will and expect it will be the same great service and experience. Highly recommend!

I am very satisfied with the online course. Everything is It's well-structured & straight forward. The class is very affordable & the staff was very responsive. I had already recommended the course to a few friends.

I was a little apprehensive taking a TEFL course this late in the game (over 40) and having already taught for over 15+ years (Pk-4th). After looking at the testimonies and watching the videos on Youtube about teaching abroad I knew I wanted a TEFL degree. Getting a TEFL degree seemed like it would be a great opportunity to: teach children, explore other cultures, travel, and get a change of scenery. The online program was structured, easy to understand, well-paced and I finished in a couple of weeks. I never thought in a million years that taking this leap would allow me (from a small town in the south) to now experience countries like Guatemala, Germany, Tiawan and now Thailand. I definitely recommend the online program. * Advice please make sure you have all of your hard copy original documents (fingerprints/ criminal report, degree, transcripts, TEFL hard copy) together before you leave the states.smh..lol...it takes additional weeks to get them together once you are out the country. Also research your prospective countries visa requirements whether they want apostilled or notarized documents.

The class was very informative, and I was able to navigate each section with ease. Learning the content was easy especially given that they build on each other and flowed smoothly. My plan is to use the strategies learned during this course for when I travel abroad.
