The insights from experts during the course have influenced my perspective on art.
April 17, 2026by: AdrianaThe most valuable aspect of the curriculum was the incredible access to professionals from every aspect of the art market. Hearing from them directly about the challenges and projects they are dealing with was an invaluable tool to understand the evolving dynamics of the sector and have a better understanding of where opportunities lie.
Countless learning opportunities
April 14, 2026by: FrancescaThe course was very helpful in laying the foundations of art valuation and learning what determines the success of an artist, as well as identifying the key players driving the direction of the market. On-site visits to galleries, museums, fairs, and the auction house were key to getting a hands-on experience of the different players in the art market. I attended the course during Frieze season, which meant tons of openings, shows, and initiatives provided me with countless learning opportunities, always guided by the wise commentary of our course leader Jeffrey Boloten.
This program offers a uniquely immersive experience
April 07, 2026by: VirginiaMy learning experience at Sotheby’s Institute of Art-London can be described in three words: insightful, inspiring, and unique. The program appealed to me because it combines expert-led classroom teaching with on-site visits to London’s most exclusive museums, galleries, studios, and more. Specifically, the entrepreneurial spirit of the program’s research projects intrigued me, as they provide an innovative, collaborative, and lasting skill set often overlooked in other programs. One of my most memorable days in the program was spent learning about how conservation practices facilitate the preservation of artworks for future generations thanks to technological developments. This lecture was followed by a trip to a Chiswick-based conservation studio, where we observed outstanding craftsmanship and expertise.
My experience was both rigorous and deeply transformative.
April 07, 2026by: TimaSeveral elements drew me to the 12-week Art Business Certificate. Its intensive structure offered a focused yet comprehensive introduction to the art world, making it ideal for career development. The balance between in-classroom teaching and on-site visits was one of the most valuable aspects of the course. The classroom sessions gave me the critical frameworks and historical context, and then the visits really brought those ideas to life. One of the most valuable aspects of the curriculum was its strong emphasis on critical analysis and contextual thinking. Rather than focusing solely on objects or market trends, the course encouraged deeper inquiry into how the art world operates, particularly around power, representation, access, and institutional responsibility.
the best
February 23, 2026by: tarik ERRAOUY - CanadaProgram: British-Accredited SkillCamp in Porto - EuroPolytech Academy
I was honestly hesitant at first because I had seen so many expensive study options in Europe and wasn’t sure what was actually worth it. What I liked about SkillCamp was the clarity. The programme is structured, British-accredited, and very transparent about what you’re getting. It’s not just classroom time — you’re expected to study independently, which pushed me to become more disciplined. The teaching felt practical and interactive rather than purely theoretical. Porto was also a big plus. The cost of living is manageable compared to other Western countries, and the environment feels safe and welcoming. If you’re looking for something affordable but still credible, and you’re willing to put in the work, this is a solid option.

Truly Amazing Trip.
January 04, 2026by: Marcelis Gunn - United StatesProgram: The Experiment Digital: International Virtual Exchanges
In my opinion, this trip was amazing in almost all regards. I have made multiple friends, both in and beyond my group, and my group and I have created an unbreakable bond. The sights were amazing, we often partook in the local transportation, and most importantly, we had freedom in where we wanted to go. For example, one time, around ten or so people in our group went to find a restaurant by ourselves, and we all were able to return to the hostel, with no pushback from our group leaders. Another time, we all planned to meet up at the gates of our hostel and head out to a local park, truly one of the best nights of the trip (maybe even that year)! All in all, from the food, to the culture, to the people, the trip truly immersed me in Japan, and I am so glad I chose to participate.

Accomplished Online master of science in project management
August 03, 2025by: Hayam HassanAt the first term I was so happy to join for the experienced instructors with full explanation, assignments discussion and participation especially the project management, time management, and risk instructors. My only concern with the supply chain subject. At my second term the instructors with good especialy the portfolio management and the the agile management instructors but the pdf material weren't the same especially that i'm the kind of person that love to read than to watch and listen. In addition, it is so hard to watch that much of videoes for the one subject taking notes not exist in pdf and repeat that for the other subjects. My concern with the financial management subject, we didn't take a good introduction to know the basis especially we are from different backgrounds, besides the way of explaining that was about reading the material didn't help and the assignment questions was so hard. The third term was confusing because there is no explanation only discussion on a big science we don't have a good base in our education as abroad, so there was a gab made us confused and lost between self study to know what and how I should do and at the same I committed with deadline to deliver the research. At all, it was a big pleasure to join the college and study with you and get a certificate feel me so proud, meeting perfect instructors rare to meet and good administration does its best to help and a community always seeking for a feed back to develop itself and always invite us to attend seminars to develop us. Thank you so much . I truly appreciate your efforts and appreciate that always 🙏💐

A lamp to hit the light
August 01, 2025by: Hayam Hassan - EgyptThe administration department was so good except the last term. All instructors were informative, collaborative, and were amazing. The best were Dr Akram, the professor of project management, the portfolio, and the agile . On the contrary were supply chain and finance instructor. The slides reading process, the materials werent helpful at all. And also the research subject, the strategies of not explaining and the non informative materials weren't helpful at all.
I would recommend this platform to anyone
February 26, 2024by: Esses Lee - United KingdomI appreciate the long allowance period to accomplish all ten modules. Giving you time to write down your own notes and fully comprehend what you’re learning. The website format is completely user friendly, not difficult at all. They cite resources for you to continue your English journey at the end of the course. I would recommend this platform to anyone I know who becomes interested in this line of work and future.

Cooking in Italy
August 25, 2023by: Alyssa Hubner - United StatesProgram: The Experiment Digital: International Virtual Exchanges
It was an amazing trip. I met so many amazing people and learned a lot of new things. We traveled to a bunch of different cities/towns in Italy. We took a few language classes before we did a homestay. The families were amazing, I felt like I was family. The highlight of the trip was the multiple cooking classes we did with an amazing chef to guide us. We also got to eat all the food after!?
A new and different experience
August 18, 2023by: Tamar Rasmussen - United StatesProgram: The Experiment Digital: International Virtual Exchanges
During my Spain 3 week travel, I really felt that it irrevocably changed me for the future. For example, the amount of independence and confidence I gained is something that it didn't necessarily expect. From flying domestically by myself and navigating the streets of busy Spain, I was forced to be able to navigate independently and find my place in a foreign country. My host family was additionally very kind, and truly made me feel welcome in their home. The new Spanish friends that I made I still keep in contact with today, as they made an honest effort to make me feel included. Overall, I would definitely recommend this program to students who want a very new experience and to understand a culture different from their own.
Sami at AUB Beirut
June 30, 2023by: Sami BanatMy time abroad was beyond amazing and totally exceeded expectations. When I choose to study abroad in Beirut, Lebanon, I was told all kinds of things to worry about, was given a picture of Beirut as dangerous, and my choice as problematic. As soon as I arrived, I quickly realized how wrong those people were. Lebanon is a fantastic country. While it is facing a number of major issues, ranging from the affects of the Port Explosion some years ago, to corruption, and a massive economic crisis, I was able to live, study, and enjoy life immensely. The American University of Beirut is a world renowned institution with rigorous academics and supportive faculty, which the most beautiful campus I have seen, attracting students from every corner of the world. There was a large population of visiting students and we were strongly supported by the Office of International Programs. Beirut was an amazing city to live in, and me and my friends quickly settled in, learning our way around, meeting locals, and becoming a part of the fabric of the city. Getting around Lebanon was easy as well, and I was able to visit so many amazing places and learn so much about the country, its history, and myself. I strongly recommend Lebanon and AUB to any student interested in making a unique and life changing experience choice.
A profound and beautiful experience!
June 16, 2023by: Mary Owusu - Ewusi - GhanaMy experience at AUB was phenomenal. I met amazing people who changed my perspective on life as I was on my journey to uplift my academic background. From Academics to social life, I got to meet and interact with great minds both from the Middle East and outside the region. Lectures were rich with case studies, and industry guest speakers who provided an outlook on how what is being learned theoretically is being used at the workplace. Also, lecturers had both industry and academic experience which made lectures more than just a class. Class outings and other gatherings also gave me an opportunity to explore Lebanon and to know more about the Lebanese people and culture, which was absolutely thrilling. AUBs state-of-the-art facilities also helped me in maintaining good physical health as I visited the well-equipped gym and learned how to swim among others. I have made long-lasting connections that have enriched and enlarged my social network. More so, the African community hosted events that made me always feel at home as I met other students from over 10 African countries where we met to have fun and share unique experiences at AUB. Indeed, AUB is my second home!

Why i highly recommend International Open Academy membership to anyone seeking personal and professional growth
May 09, 2023by: Michael Hart - United KingdomI initially joined for the TEFL course, but ended up getting a membership for all 200+ courses at a great price. It was the best decision I've made for my personal learning journey. The TEFL course was thorough, and I received a beautiful certificate from ICOES, along with a CPD certificate that allows me to work overseas. Since I had access to the other courses, I started exploring them and found some amazing content. The Social Media courses were all video-based, and I now have a much better understanding of how to use Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms for professional development. I even took a tailoring course which was so cool and well-structured, with my tutor Stylish D being incredibly helpful. Throughout the entire process, the customer service from International Open Academy was top-notch, promptly addressing any course-related questions I had. I highly recommend this membership to anyone interested in personal or professional development.
