London was the most unrealistic experience for me! The work-life balance culture, dressing, food, lifestyle, people everything seemed like a fantasy. These 2 months are something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Never did I think I would get to meet such great people, eat all this food, and party as I've never done before! The experience coordinators were the absolute best. They ensured we had a great time, did not make us feel like we were away from home, and most importantly, they were our friends! We talked, ate, and went out together like we've known each other since forever. Honestly, I wasn't sure about this entire experience, but once I got here, oh boy, I would give my heart and soul for this to just be my reality. My opinion, be unsure, dream unrealistically, spend that money, overthink it, but take that step and go for it, because what's the worst that could happen?

I had one of the best time of my life! The internship has helped me to grow both personally and professionally and I will be forever grateful to The Intern Group for the opportunity given. Before going to Hong Kong, i thought all I was going to experience is the internship itself and nothing else. Until I realized the intern group provided other memorable experiences for us. My internship with The Intern Group was a very valuable experience for me, both personally and professionally. As this was my first experience working in the industry, I wasn’t completely sure what to expect, but I was able to adapt to the working environment much more easily than I thought. One of the most valuable parts of this experience was that it made me think more seriously about the career path I would like to follow in the future. There are so many different areas and opportunities within computer science and technology, and having the chance to gain real work experience helped me better understand what kind of work I enjoy, what I am good at, and what might suit me best in the future. I also had the opportunity to meet new people, experience a different working environment, and learn many things outside of my university studies. I am especially grateful to my workplace mentors, who were incredibly patient, supportive, and welcoming throughout my internship. They always took the time to help me whenever I had questions or was unsure about something. Everything was explained to me in great detail, and I was guided through unfamiliar tasks in a way that helped me genuinely understand what I was doing. Having such supportive mentors made it much easier for me to learn, build my confidence, and feel comfortable in my first professional working environment. I also really appreciated all the events and activities organised by The Intern Group. I genuinely enjoyed every event I attended, and they made the whole experience even more memorable and enjoyable. They were also a great opportunity to meet and spend time with people from different backgrounds and make new connections. I am very thankful to The Intern Group team for organising them and for always being so supportive throughout my time here. Overall, I am very grateful for this experience and for everyone who contributed to it. My time in Madrid was the best three months of my life; I learned so much about myself and was able to meet a bunch of new people. I loved how easygoing Madrid was, from the transportation to how nice the people were. I was able to experience the Madrid culture and try new foods. It took a little bit to get used to the 9-hour time difference and the late dinners. I also loved how easy it was to travel around Europe because Madrid has easy access to trains and flights. Lastly, I had the best roommates and made lifelong memories. The Intern Group was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. More specifically, Lalita and Corinne were so helpful while being in Madrid. Anytime I had a question, they were able to answer it very quickly. Also, getting to be in a group with other interns made the experience a lot easier because we were able to connect and relate to each other's experiences. I was able to make lifelong friends with some of the people in the group. The Bubble (the company that I worked with) made it very welcoming and allowed me to ask any questions that I was unsure about. They gave me many hands-on tasks, which I am grateful for because I gained a lot of experience. Overall, Madrid makes it extremely easy to adapt to and is a great place to do an internship. There is always something to do, and you will 100% make lifelong memories and friendships.

I had a good experience with The Intern Group during my summer internship in Spain. They made the process of moving to a new country and starting an internship easier by providing support throughout the experience. My internship gave me valuable professional experience and allowed me to build on my skills. Joining The Intern Group's architecture internship program in Madrid, Spain was one of the best decisions I've ever made. What started as an opportunity to gain international work experience became a journey of personal growth, cultural immersion, and lifelong memories. During my internship, I worked in a professional architecture firm where I was exposed to real-world projects, collaborated with experienced architects, and learned how design practices differ in an international setting. It strengthened both my technical and communication skills while teaching me how to adapt to a multicultural workplace. Living in Madrid was equally rewarding. The accommodation was clean, safe, and conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to commute to work and explore the city. Madrid itself is vibrant, walkable, and rich in history, and I loved spending weekends visiting museums, parks, cafés, and nearby cities. The Intern Group also organized social events that made it easy to connect with interns from all over the world, many of whom I still keep in touch with today. One thing I appreciated most was how this experience pushed me outside my comfort zone. Moving to another country, navigating daily life in a different language, and balancing work with travel helped me become more independent, resilient, and confident. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to provide even more structured networking opportunities or career development workshops tailored to different industries. That said, the overall support from The Intern Group was excellent, and I always felt that there was someone I could reach out to whenever I needed assistance. I would highly recommend this program to students and recent graduates who want more than just an internship. If you're looking to gain meaningful professional experience while growing as a person and experiencing life in another country, this program is absolutely worth it. This was an amazing experience to immerse myself in a new culture while also gaining work experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to both travel and work in a professional setting. Dublin has a great city life, and it is also easy to travel to other European countries

My experience in Dublin was life changing. I had the best time exploring the city, making life long friends and my placement was fantastic. I was working with like minded people, that were passionate about what they did and wanted to share that passion with me. Outside of work the EC’s are the best people to talk to about where to go and what to see around the city, they really help bump the trip up to the next level.

The experience from start to finish was really great! The initial interview was really easy. The internship with placement Paula was really great. Her communication was really helpful. The experience coordinators Adam and Laura were fantastic as well. All the events they held were really fun and they were really easy to talk to and reach out when needed.

Summer internship went great! I had to do a 8 week program per my university requirements and my placement helped me find another placement for the 3 week gap I had after they finished. Everyone was super nice and friendly in the workplace too. Events were very fun, Adam and Laura tried their best to make sure of it, I got to see a bit of Ireland through them and I made life long friends with my roommates. Overall great experience!

The intern group Dublin program has been very rewarding. I have been able to learn from my internship for about 8 weeks and experience the sites around Dublin. The ECs, Adam and Laura, were amazing!! This was the most amazing and most fun experience I have ever had. This is the first time I have traveled alone to a country I have never been to before, and it's been alone from family in a whole new place for a long time. Most people view interning abroad as just a resume builder, but it's honestly so much more than that. I've really grown as a person by becoming more independent and self-reliant. I've gone on amazing and cool excursions and made so many new friends. I've gotten to really love Australia over the couple of weeks I spent here, and I honestly wish I had spent more time there. I felt very sad to leave, and all of the other interns felt the same way. Australia is truly a wonderful place to live in, and I hope my future holds a place for Australia.

I had a great and fruitful experience doing a 6 week business internship in Dublin. from the internshipI learnt most from participating in the workings of a business, in presenting its platforms, creating and refining content such as websites with AI, and conducting market research and social media outreach. But in Addition to that , it was the organised events and provided facilties that allowed me to do so much outside of work. London is an incredible city with a rich history, diverse culture, and endless opportunities. I enjoyed exploring its museums, theatres, parks, and vibrant neighbourhoods. The public transport is convenient, and there is always something new to discover. Although the cost of living is very high, the experience of living and working here has been unforgettable. My internship gave me valuable insight into the UK healthcare system and helped me improve my communication skills. I hope I will have the opportunity to return and work in London with a work visa in the future.

Although my time in London was brief, I met incredible people who turned what could have been a lonely trip into something truly special. I left wishing I could stay longer and already planning to return. It is an experience I will treasure for a long time to come.

The Intern Group provided me with a memorable experience in Madrid, Spain, from which I learned professional, social, and intercultural skills. If you like exploring, plan trips for every weekend because you won’t have the time during the week between work and outtings with friends. My onboarding experience with TIG was also great because they were patient with me wanting to find the best fit for my field of study. What is your advice to future travelers on this program? Find a balance between planning ahead and living in the moment because there is a lot to take your time with in Madrid, but lots of amazing things to see nearby for an affordable price!

My internship abroad has been the best experience and opportunity! The Intern Group has made it so easy and fun. I felt supported through the entire journey. Would definitely recommend! Also having roommates who are also doing internships has made it so much easier. We did a lot together and really created strong bonds. The Intern Group also made an effort in planning social events with all fellow interns and we got a chance to meet and get to know everyone. The housing was also super neat and had everything we needed.

My intern abroad experience in London was absolutely incredible. I grew so much, both professionally and personally. Professionally, I learned so much about financial technology and its sub sectors. Personally, I become a more outgoing, social person. Alex was my primary Intern Group leader and he was absolutely fantastic.

In November 2025, I decided to take the biggest leap of my life and give myself less than two months to move to the city where my soul truly feels at home: Madrid. I wanted to grow both personally and professionally, immerse myself in a new culture, and challenge myself in ways I never had before and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. The three months I spent there felt like an absolute dream come true. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and inspired. Lalita and Corinne were absolutely amazing in helping build a home away from home. They set up the best group activities where I made the most amazing friends whom im still in touch with and already planning a reunion trip with 🫶🏼 Beyond gaining valuable international work experience, I built confidence, independence, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable memories. Living and working in Madrid gave me a completely new perspective on life, business, and myself. It pushed me outside of my comfort zone in the best possible way and strengthened my passion for international business, hospitality, and global connections. This experience was far more than just an internship — it was a period of growth, self-discovery, and transformation that I will carry with me forever. I had the incredible opportunity to intern in Film & TV production in London. During my internship, I assisted the production company with administrative tasks and supported the overall post-production process of a feature film that they are planning to release soon. It was amazing to be surrounded by such a welcoming and talented team, and they taught me so much about what goes into making a film and how it is successfully marketed and sold within the industry. Overall, the internship programme was a fantastic experience. The intern group also organised great social events, including a theatre visit that I absolutely enjoyed. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, and I made some great friends along the way. This experience has given me valuable insight into the Film & TV industry and has further strengthened my passion for working in production.

Overall, the experience was a 10 out of 10. The Intern Group supported me and guided me throughout the entire process. Not only did I gain practical experience through my internship, but the social and cultural activities they organized every weekend—such as museum visits, cruises, and trips to amusement parks—were also wonderful. It was a great opportunity to learn a lot while having a fun and enjoyable time with other interns in New York. The accommodation was also excellent. I stayed in a self-contained apartment, and the location was very convenient.

I would honestly recommend this experience to anyone who asked. From work to free time I had so much fun and such unique experiences. I interned with a company called Align Consultancy and Agency, a business to business sales company. I was the first intern they had that did calls and I was so glad that from day 1 they threw me into the deep end and made me make calls. It immediately boosted my confidence and I learnt much quicker. I do also want to say that although they pushed me right into the calls, they were always there to help and I never felt like I was abandoned to the work. The people at Align were also really fun and welcoming. If you have a chance I would highly recommend working with them. Now, for the free time. I consider myself very lucky to have the group I had. From those who arrived with me and those already there, everyone was so welcoming. I didn't have an issue with a single person and never felt left out. I was glad that there was another group that had been there before I arrived so they could show me around this city and all the best places to go out. I consider them all my friends and will do for years to come. You will meet new people and make new friends who without this experience you would never have ever interacted with. It will make you a more self confident person and give you memories you'll look back on forever. I will forever love Dublin and miss the people I met there.

I had an incredible time interning in Medellín for two months with a company called Conaltura, a leader in sustainable construction and real estate across Latin America. The people I met were warm, driven, and open, I made lasting friendships, and will take a multitude of fun memories back home with me. I can’t recommend Medellín enough. The city has a contagious momentum, a lively arts and music scene, fresh food, great weather, and biodiversity unlike anywhere I’ve ever visited. I went into this internship looking to better understand what kind of work I would be doing in my path and I found that. I also wanted to experience life abroad which I loved and I wanted to make great friends, which I did. everything i set out to do, I accomplished.

My 10 week program was an absolutely life-changing time of my life. Before choosing this program, I wanted a whole cultural experience, I wanted something new and I wanted to see a different side of the world. I had no expectations of what I was going to experience in Spain; I knew nothing about it, I didn't know how to speak Spanish, and I knew nobody going into it; and yet I can say this was the most life-changing experience I have had. I was placed with INES Ingenieros Consultores, a fascinating engineering consultancy with a specialisation in transport infrastructure and restoring built heritage. I was tasked to assist them with flood modelling for 4 different regions around Spain. The country is quite known for their flooding from its mountainous geography so it was quite fascinating to see the focus on construction and infrastructure assets. The company also showed me the different projects they worked on and different contracts they have with clients regarding asset management, consulting, and design services which was very insightful. My co-workers were very friendly and advised me a few times with their day-to-day lives and general travelling around Spain. My mentor was very smart and experienced in his field and I learnt a lot from his teachings. Overall the work was a 10/10 experience, it's a vast contrast to the work I've experienced in Australia and I feel quite accomplished having done this internship. I felt motivated most days to come into work and learn from the opportunities they provided me with. From visiting the historical villages and getting to know different people from various backgrounds, this program was an absolute pleasure for organising events to meet other interns and see the main parts of Madrid. The organisers were extremely helpful and provided valuable insights with travelling. I've made lifelong global friends with this program with different backgrounds, and absolutely want to visit their home countries. I was very happy with the hospitality provided by this program. In terms of Spain itself, it was an absolutely insightful experience to travel around the country. Weekends were an opportunity to explore different cities around Spain, to see its unique landscapes and explore the night-life of Madrid. Madrid is quite famous for its night-life, and its no disappointment; the streets felt safe, the music and culture is lively, and I'm quite happy to have seen this. For an adventurous and outdoorsy person, Spain is definitely on top of the list to visit. Hiking is plentiful and quite rewarding in this country. From the famous Picos de Europa, Pyrenees Mountains on the French border, and even mountains just one hour north of Madrid; just the experiences were absolute eye gazing moments. The landscapes were lively and the animal-life was abundant even during the late-winter/early-spring season. For a historical and cultural person, everywhere in Spain is abundant with life and heritage. Stone structures are preserved throughout time, religion is a big part of Spain, and the food is most Spanish the further away from the city you go (from my experience at least). Overall, this solo adventure will forever be a big part of me and will sit deep in my heart. A huge thank you to The Intern Group Madrid Team for giving me this opportunity, for organising housing, events, and the internship itself; I will be forever grateful for the memories I've made on this journey and I will always want to return. It is such a lively country, suitable for almost everyone, and there will always be something to do in Spain. Hasta luego, España!

Dublin is an amazing city with the best work and social cultures I have experienced. The experience coordinators here were so great at making us feel welcome and supported, additionally they fostered such a great group dynamic that left me with friends for life that I would not have made otherwise.

I had an amazing time abroad. My internship placement was amazing and was exactly what I needed and went right under my degree and career field. I had such an awesome time on trips and meets organized by the Intern group. Lucy and Laura did an amazing job. Overall, had a great experience, and this was my second time doing an internship through the Intern group.

My six-month marketing internship with Interngroup was a great experience. I had the opportunity to further develop my creative skills, while working on a variety of marketing-related tasks. The Interngroup team were supportive and organised, which made it easy to settle in and get the most out of the programme. The intern events were a great part of the programme. It was an enjoyable way to connect with others and experience the city outside of work. Overall it was a delightful and valuable experience.

The internship I completed in Tokyo was fantastic! Thanks to the Intern Group and all their support and provisions, I was able to undertake an engaging and fulfilling internship within one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in the world. The Intern Group were extremely skilled at analysing my resume, as based on my strengths, they suitably paired me with the NGO Seibo Japan, where I was able to grow and develop my skills and interests in marketing and fundraising. I would highly recommend taking part in an Internship with The Intern Group, and I can't wait until I return to Japan!

I had a great time abroad! I enjoyed my internship placement, it was exactly in the career field I plan on going into. I also really enjoyed everything about living in London. Alex and Peach have been the best! They have been so helpful in answering questions and helping us along the way, and have facilitated great meet-ups. The process of coming to London was quite difficult and caused a fair amount of stress. While this wasn’t entirely the Intern Group’s fault, I do wish I had been given more time for the visa application and sponsorship process. By the time I received my sponsorship number after being connected with the visa company, it was already very close to the latest possible appointment I could get for my work visa. Having even an extra month for this process would make a significant difference and help reduce a lot of the stress involved. I absolutely love London and have been very happy with my overall experience here. My main concerns were that the accommodation was not exactly as it had been described during the acceptance stage, and that my internship workload was heavier than I expected for an unpaid role. The position felt closer to what would normally be considered a paid internship. However, I understand that this was the first time my placement organisation had worked with the Intern Group, so I recognise that this may have contributed to the situation. One of the highlights of this experience has been the support from Peach and Alex. They have both been incredible throughout the program. Alex is extremely friendly and approachable, and Peach is very knowledgeable and informative. Together they make a fantastic team. They have done a wonderful job making everyone feel welcome, and every question I’ve had since arriving in London has been answered quickly and thoughtfully. I feel very lucky to have had them as my advisors during this experience. Overall, my experience has been truly great, and I’m very sad to be leaving. Although there were definitely stressful moments before arriving and at times during the internship, I would not trade this experience for anything. It has been incredibly valuable both personally and professionally.

I had a great time studying abroad! I loved Ibt Media and learned so much. I got great hands on experience, more than I ever thought I would. I had great bosses and they were so patient with me when I was first learning how everything worked.

My experience with The Intern Group in Madrid fully met my expectations, and I am leaving the city incredibly happy and grateful for everything I experienced. From a professional perspective, as an architecture student, one of my main concerns was finding an internship that truly matched my field of study. The Intern Group successfully placed me in a company that was well aligned with my academic background and professional interests. The company was relatively small, which, in my opinion, turned out to be a great advantage. On a daily basis, I received very personalized feedback on my work, and the work environment felt close and supportive. I never felt like “just another intern,” but rather like a valued member of the team. Regarding the language aspect, it was not a problem for me since Spanish is my first language and my internship was conducted in Spanish. However, the social side of the program was mainly in English, as interns come from all over the world. This actually became a great opportunity for me to practice and improve my English in a very natural way, which I truly appreciated. As for the accommodation, it was very good overall. The location was really good, well connected to public transportation and conveniently situated. One important thing to consider is that you may share the apartment not only with other interns from The Intern Group, but also with external tenants. If you are not used to living with people you don’t know, this is something to keep in mind. That being said, in my personal experience, living with other people was very positive. Living with other interns from the program also created a sense of community and support, it felt reassuring to have people going through the same experience under the same roof. Socially, I would say this is one of the strongest aspects of the program. There were always activities organized throughout the week, which made it very easy to meet other interns. I am leaving Madrid with great friendships and connections with people from all over the world, which is something I truly value. In conclusion, this is a very complete experience in all aspects, professional, personal, and social. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering doing an international internship. It has been an enriching experience that I will always look back on with appreciation.

My experience with the intern group was incredibly helpful, especially as someone who had never done an internship abroad before. Moving to a new country and adjusting to everything can feel overwhelming, but they supported me through the entire process. They helped with the logistics, accommodation, and even getting my metro card, which made settling in so much easier and allowed me to focus on my internship. I signed ip for the Madrid programme expecting to get to work in an interesting company, meet amazing people and have a culturally enriching experience - and I was not disappointed. My internship working for the government in Colombia was an incredibly meaningful and intellectually enriching experience. I had the opportunity to work on research related to the environmental treatment of gold mine tailings from the Bajo Cauca region, an issue that sits at the intersection of environmental sustainability, public policy, and regional development. From day one, I felt welcomed by my warm colleagues. The organization provided a strong balance between autonomy and guidance, allowing me to conduct in-depth research as well as discuss issues with the head if mining at the office. It was a phenomenal, tangible experience. The work was both challenging and impactful, as it addressed real environmental concerns affecting communities in Antioquia. I couldn't have wished for better! Alongside doing research my colleagues also made sure I always joined them to the food markets and try their local cuisine, they made me feel so at home. My research into solutions for gold mine tailings (including environmental remediation strategies, regulatory frameworks, and sustainable mining transitions) gave me insight into how local governments navigate complex socio-environmental issues. It was especially valuable to see how policy, science, and economic realities must align to create viable long-term solutions for regions like Bajo Cauca.. Beyond the technical knowledge I gained, the internship deepened my understanding of governance in Latin America and the role of regional institutions in driving environmental progress. Medellín itself is also such a vibrant, dynamic and innovative city, which made the experience even more inspiring. I highly recommend this internship to anyone interested in environmental policy, sustainable development, or public sector research. It is an opportunity not only to learn, but to contribute to meaningful change. Would go back in a heartbeat.

I had a great time during my internship at Zencargo. They provided me with opportunities to work on projects I'm interested in, and helped facilitate my learning. I got to learn more skills in Web and app development, which are skills I had limited experience in as a data scientist who primarily worked with isolated code and data.

I started my internship last October and it's been really cool so far! Of course some things weren't exactly as l expected but I have been wanting to move to London for years and this has been an amazing opportunity to get to know the city:). My favourite part about the internship are all of the social events! I got to go to the dinner & theatre night twice and both times have been so great. Peach and Alex, the London coordinators, also organise social meet-ups sometimes: we’ve done a few pub crawls, a Halloween Jack the Ripper tour and a thanksgiving dinner party. It’s super fun and an amazing way to meet the other interns and I’ve made some good friends!

This was one of the most transformative experiences I've ever had. I have always wanted to study abroad at university, but due to my circumstances, I was never able to. After graduation, I wanted to gain work experience, and I discovered The Intern Group. This was the perfect opportunity for professional development and an overseas experience. The work that I was doing led me to some pretty cool places, and I got to meet a lot of interesting and unique personalities. If you're considering something like this, I would tell you to do it. Keep in mind that it's what you make of it, and that can make your experience 10/10 or 0/10. The resources are provided for you to grow and learn, so go make the most of your time!

I interned in Madrid for one month and then finished my internship fir the second month remotely. It was literally so fun! It was my first time in Spain and even though it was fall It was thr perfect weather. The program did pretty much all of the work from finding my housing to organizing a ride from the airport so the trip was so smooth and laid out. They even organized trips for me to visit other parts of spain outside of Madrid. I got to spend thanksgiving in Europe and see some christmas lights which was absolutely beautiful. Even thoigh I was interning it literally felt like a well planned out vacation where I just had everything planned out for me! I loved it.

Interning in London was genuinely an amazing experience. The internship itself opened my eyes to the behind the scenes of marketing, I truly gained a real understanding of the role itself. As for the experience outside of the internship, I made close friends whom I was able to travel with and make life-long memories with. 10/10 would recommend

My time abroad was truly a great experience. I interned in Madrid which is a great city, I highly recommend interning here if you can. Furthermore, the people I met and worked with along the way were amazing and they made my time here extra special. The culture was awesome and I really enjoyed some of the events that the Intern Group puts on. They are a great way to meet a bunch of new people from many different walks of life and the events themselves are really fun. They also provide insider information about Madrid that will help to visit other places in the city that might not have been on your radar or on your list to visit had it not been for these events. The nightlife in the city is spectacular but if that’s not your thing there are so many different things to do in Madrid I honestly would find it hard to believe that somebody couldn’t love it. I only experienced two drawbacks during my time in Madrid that had to do with the Intern Group. Firstly, I along with others I know experienced gaps in communication in regards to move-in dates, problem solving, and other administrative stuff. Support staff often took very long to respond to general questions and urgent emails alike which made it very frustrating to try and problem solve if something were to come up. Furthermore, there were issues here and there with housing but overall the housing I was placed in was great. Again, I highly recommend studying abroad through an internship, whether it be in Madrid or elsewhere. I think an internship gives the unique experience of having a job instead of being in school and prepares you for a professional working environment in ways that nothing else could, especially not a semester of school.

I found out about The Intern Group through my university, and I wanted to give an internship in London a shot, as I was taking a gap year after getting my Bachelor's degree. I tried to have very few expectations going into it, as I was afraid of getting disappointed in one way or another. I am happy to say that the experience I had with this programme would have exceeded even the highest of expectations I could have had. The pre-programme process was as smooth as it could be, with only some minor bumps along the way. Finding my host company was fun, and I made the right choice in the end. Our accommodation, albeit pricy, was very clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. My flatmates were some of the most amazing people I've ever met, and I genuinely believe that I found lifelong friends in them. The internship brought lessons that I will take into my future career. Most of all, my coworkers and manager were incredibly patient and taught me so many things, both work-related and not. From the beginning, I felt welcomed. Everyone treated me with the utmost respect, as if I had been an employee there for years and not just an intern. Our coordinators were the sweetest people ever, and I honestly couldn't have wished for better people to support my London experience. The social events were always fun, and I loved meeting the other interns. I made some good friends (and memories) along the way! If I could, I would relive it all over again. I've grown, both personally and professionally, for the better. Overall, 10/10 would recommend, both for the CV boost and for the sillies :)

This summer I decided to do a 6 week internship in Madrid. I did my internship at a small company in the area of social media marketing and website design. Overall I had a very good working experience and I really enjoyed my team and co workers. My internship also was 100% on site and not remote, which I actually enjoyed. It was nice to go to work every day and to have a routine, especially when you are in a new city and don’t know so many people yet. I also had another intern with me at my office, which I enjoyed a lot. I really enjoyed Madrid as a city. I‘m from Europe and have already been in most capital cities but in my opinion Madrid is one of my favourite ones. The city is very safe, clean and beautiful and there’s a lot to do in your free time.

In Summer 2025 I completed an 8 week internship in Tokyo through The Intern Group. They were very helpful with the placement and I feel like they really listened to my thoughts on finding the right place for me. I ended up interning for an amazing company in central Tokyo and met some great people. I also really appreciate the scheduled meetups and excursions around Tokyo outside of my internship that were planned and operated by the TIG experience coordination team in Tokyo. Interning in Medellín for 12 weeks through the Intern Group was a wonderful experience. While the internship itself was not the most demanding of placements, I still gained valuable insights into a different industry, and it was a great way to experience the work culture of another country and meet local people. Whatever shortfalls there were in the actual internship itself, they were well and truly made up for by the cultural learnings and the social connections made through the program. Huge kudos to the Colombia Intern Group team for always looking out for all the interns and organising so many social activities to get to know other interns and to feel right at home in a new country.

As the title said, after completing all the sign up requirements I questioned why I was doing it. I had such extreme homesickness before I even left, but being in Colombia was the best thing for me. M & V were the best, I made real friends with the other interns and I got to go and have an experience I would have never considered for myself. Colombia is beautiful, the people are amazing, being back home now I miss it and my friends so much. This experience was worth it.

I loved every day of my internship, the events at the workplace and those organised by the intern group were incredible. I would 100% recommend an internship in Medellin- learn some spanish, eat absolutely everything! and just be one with your surroundings. I found people were excited to share their culture when you make the effort to learn and truly listen to them. I am so grateful for this experience and the person I have become because of it.

The interview and finding company process was stressful but after that it was a very good experience and would definitely do it again.

I worked at an art/film archive/licensing company this summer. I learned a lot about myself in a creative and professional sense. I absolutely loved my experience living, studying, and working in Dublin. Ireland was the perfect choice for my study abroad. It felt exciting and enriching without ever being overwhelming or intimidating. Dublin is filled with so many cultural, historical, and fun landmarks and sites that you will never be bored and there are more than enough social opportunities to get involved in. The intern group really helped us get integrated not only into Dublin’s social scene but into life across Ireland as a whole. Through the program, I took a trip to the Cliffs of Moher, tried an Irish dancing class, explored museums, and joined other interns for everything from movie nights to literary pub crawls. These experiences brought us closer together and made my time in Ireland truly unforgettable. As an internship location, Dublin has so many unique and interesting companies and organizations that you can be placed in with the benefit of getting to work in an English speaking environment. I found this to be extremely valuable because I got the opportunity to get a global working experience without ever feeling the pressures of a language barrier. Overall I highly recommend choosing Dublin as your global internship placement and experiencing it through the intern group made it even better!

I had a fantastic time here in Dublin. It's a great city to live in if you want to have the accessibility of a big city without the stress of a daunting, hugely busy urban environment. Living in the UCD Village was lovely--it was clean, new, and had great amenities (gym, grocery store, kitchen, cleaning service--thank you!). Also, the long daylight hours during the summer made it easy to make the most out of your days here. In terms of the placement, it wasn't what I was expecting, nor what was in my contract, but I ended up liking it more. My contract described prospecting, outreach, and client management, but I instead ended up doing social media, graphic design, photography, and creative writing. I'm glad, honestly, but some advice I would give myself would be to ask more questions during the interview to get a full understanding. Seems obvious, but I was nervous and sort of blacked out a little. I can't really remember what they said I'd be doing! Of course, your preferences and demonstrated abilities can shape what you do, which has the potential to reroute your experience for the better. Finally, the program coordinators were helpful, primarily during the preparation for the program, but were also very involved later on and during events, which was great. Honestly, the prepration is the more involved part. I would do this again and recommend Dublin to others!

London is the best city on Earth!! The intern group is so kind and helpful and I met some amazing people during this experience. My job was also great and I built amazing connections that I’ll cherish for a lifetime.

My time in Madrid was the best thing I've ever chosen to do, both professionally and personally. Having some of our events planned for us was fantastic and put me at ease, but also having the space to plan my own trips was wonderful. As the title suggests, this internship experience in Madrid was incredible for me. The role I was matched with for the company aligns with my major and fits well with what I want to do in the future. I tried to get a solid internship experience without having to do the whole "study abroad classes" thing with my university, and this met the mark. I was able to learn a lot more about the Spanish language as well as the culture. I felt like I was able to connect back with my Spanish roots and family from here in Spain. This internship also works well regardless of whether you have already visited Europe before, live in another European countries, or if this is your first time. Something that was positively surprising was that I was also able to form deep connections with the other interns in the program, and I know that they will go beyond our time here. The organized events were additionally great opportunities to learn more about Spanish history/culture as well as connect with others.

My experience with the Intern Group in Madrid was amazing. I was very fortunate to have been accomodated, in an apartment as nice as the one i was provided. The Intern Group staff was always at our disposal to help us with an question or difficulty we could be experiencing. I was given an amazing company, named Adamo Robot and gained valuable Business experience from everyday interaction. All staff members were extremely friendly and i was made to feel part of the team from day one. I would recommend the Intern Group to anyone looking to gain hands-on work experience in a foreign country, guided by an excellent profesional team.

My 10-week internship in Madrid was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I’m so glad I took the chance to go. From the professional growth, the cultural insights, to the friends I made, my time in Medellin was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! I gained many transferrable skills during my internship and made many connections that will be valuable in my future career journey. The Intern Group organised many different cultural activities, so there was always something to do on weekends. We explored the city and went to nearby towns like Guatape, to get a fully rounded Colombian experience. I loved learning all about the language, the food, the traditions and the way of life here. Medellin itself is a beautiful city, surrounded by mountains and full of lush greenery. There is something for everyone here - whether you like the outdoors, food, or parties, Medellin has it all! Mariana was fantastic as well, always going above and beyond her role as Experience Coordinator to make sure we had everything we needed and felt safe and supported. I will always look back on my time here fondly and recommend an internship in Medellin to anyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone and have the best time!

I joined the internship program for a 3 months program as an IT Internet in Delonia Software. The decision to join the Madrid Program was one of the best I could possibly take, not only because I had the opportunity in Delonia to explore a vast range of different topics and therefore make up my mind regarding the possible career choices in the IT field, but also because the Madrid program itself is extremely good! In Delonia I went on to explore different topics as penetration testing, networking as well as system administration,and all this within a very flexible work culture that allowed me to both look after my personal matters as well as investigate the different aspects of IT within Delonia. I for sure never got bored in Madrid because once the working hours are done I discovered the city offered an incredible array of events to attend. It has a vibrant community and if one is not careful it is very easy to find oneself in one event one day and the next as well! For sure it is a city that never sleeps and it is quite complementary with the work culture, which in my case was very relaxed as well. The program of visiting different cities and discover a diverse range of locations thanks to the efforts of the Intern Group team were also very useful, because I could discover places I'd never went to otherwise, because they laid outside the types of place I used to go to. Overall the experience has been so good that I decided to come back and live in Madrid. It is a great city to live in and offers a great culture to explore!

I had an amazing time working for an NGO in Hong Kong during my Gap Year. TIG helped me find a host who suited my needs and interests perfectly. The social events that TIG ran during my time here were always well planned and fun and provided me with an avenue to experience activities and events in the city I wouldn't have found otherwise. There's a strong sense of community with the other interns and I would recommend the Hong Kong programme specifically for anyone wanting to look for a really special city to stay in. Genuinely one of my favourite things I've done.

This was one of the best experiences of my life and I would not trade it for the world! I got so much more out of my shell and loved working in a corporate environment as it gave me an insight into my future career. I would recommend this program to everyone!

I had an amazing experience in Madrid, I loved my internship, got to live in the center of city, and met so many people from countries all around the world. While having the opportunity to work with kids through my internship and explore the city of Madrid were highlights of my time abroad, the excursions and events hosted by the Intern Group helped me form connections with people who shared my passion for travel, enhancing my experience beyond what I could have imagined. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in gaining internship experience in a new city or country. In my personal opinion, my internship allowed me to connect with people local to Madrid, making my experience more valuable than if I had only been taking classes.

Doing an internship in Medellin, Colombia was one of the best decisions I ever made! I met so many great people both professionally and personally, and still keep in touch with many of them today. I was able to explore things I would've never expected (like the Amazon Rainforest) and got to do it all while furthering my career and getting invaluable experience working with an organization in a different culture and environment.

I recently completed an international internship in Dublin, Ireland through The Intern Group as part of my gap year before attending medical school. The Intern Group made sure I had everything I needed to succeed, from pre-arrival assistance to ongoing support throughout my internship. I enjoyed my internship and had a good time sightseeing in New York, especially because I was able to visit Washington DC for a conference with my internship company and meet and listen to Brazilian delegates discuss their knowledge on the topic of the RTM. I would do this again.

I would say my experience of interning in New York would be best summarising as a time where I’ve learned the most in the shortest amount of time. Whilst there was all the things I literally learned through my internship about being in a different kind of workplace, new skills and other things. After living and interning in New York I would say being in that new environment and being thrown into the culture taught me so much about who I was, could be and to never limit where I can go. I’m grateful for the experience I had and if you have the opportunity to do an internship, do it! It is definitely worth it.

I chose a program having to do with an industry i had little to no experience in, but I feel that jump into the deep end allowed me to learn so much. I loved having a group of fellow interns to talk with along with being solo in my specific internship. I faced some challenges with my supervisor but ultimately feel those challenges were also only more lessons to be learned and brought with me in the future. In terms of career prep and experience I think I have learned and gained loads from the program. :)

Summer Internship in New York City from June to September 2024. Had a fantastic time gaining valuable work experience while also being able to explore and experience living one of the best cities in the world.

The experience was fun and formative! The company was great and supportive. Social life inside my building was great. Outdoor activities organized were amazing. I’ll always be grateful for the experience.

I have interned in New York. It was a transformational experience as I got to experience the Big Apple life and people. I loved the work and also the people I have met in the program. Our program leader, Brian, was very helpful in showing the city but also telling its secrets.

It was a good experience for getting an internship and also creating friendships. The accommodation location was good but the room is not the best (loud ac and thin wall). Depends on where you get placed.

I had the time of my life and it was a great experience. I met lovely people and enjoyed the city by day and by night. Living in Ny has been a dream that came true. Dublin is a city of friendly people and a vibrancy I’ve never experienced before. My time there is entirely unforgettable with the most beautiful Irish landscapes, colorful culture, amazing food, and wonderful people. I’d never felt so comfortable in a city on my own before. Not only this, but my placement for my internship was incredibly well suited to my goals and career objectives. I was so excited to visit Ireland, but the Intern Group truly made it an experience. My coordinators were fantastic at immersing us in the culture and providing guidance in a new city. I miss Ireland and the people I’ve met every day and will carry this experience with me through the rest of my life.

During my internship as a Finance Assistant at a company for finance on Broadway, I gained valuable experience, but it was a mixed journey. While the company itself was excellent, I found my direct supervisor a little bit unhelpful because he often assigned repetitive tasks instead of teaching me something new. However, the rest of the staff and colleagues were incredibly friendly and social, frequently inviting me to parties and events. The intern group staff was amazing, they were highly supportive, constantly checking in on us. Brian, our supervisor, was amazing and every Saturday, he organized sightseeing trips, creating unforgettable memories as we explored and enjoyed as a group. Meet up new friends and still meet up with them in London.

I had the great privilege to work for 3 months in INES Ingenieros Consultores a consulting company in the construction industry. There I was working on a vulnerability study of the bridges in the community of Madrid analyzing the exposure and fragility variables of bridges against hydrometeorological phenomena, a very important task taking into consideration the DANA impacts on Valencia. Beyond the technical skills that I have developed, without a doubt I am left with the work skills. I was able to acquire new skills that I am sure will serve me not only in my professional facet but also in academic, personal, economic and even relationship development. I have learned the importance of asking, understanding, planning, acting and registering. Ask: any command, physical and/or theoretical concept, instruction within a procedure, ask about objectives. What is not asked sooner or later ends up coming to light in some way or another in failure mode. It's okay to fail, but you can save a lot of mistakes if you lose your fear of asking. Understand: I have learned to fully value the importance of understanding the purpose of each task before starting to do it, that is where the opportunities to be proactive are born, the opportunities to improve the work that is being done, to be able to optimize processes and finally transcend in the work that you are carrying out. Plan: 2 minutes of planning, save 15 minutes in execution. It's as simple as that. I knew that phrase but had never realized how true it is, especially when you work with models and simulations in engineering projects. Record: record both what goes well and what goes wrong in order to enter a process of continuous improvement that allows you to continue improving every day and establish a standard of excellence in any work you carry out. Another competence acquired was that of research. I have developed several techniques to be able to delve into scientific literature that can often be complicated by the complexity of such a technical language, but I have learned ways to learn to read faster. Learning to read effectively is undoubtedly a skill whose benefits have no limits. This experience has helped me to realize what I would like to focus my professional career on, before I saw myself in resilience projects and now I am clear that I am more passionate about the development of vulnerable communities through built infrastructure.

This experience was totally worth it! Hong Kong is a great city and Being part of this program has made my life easier to discover the city well and make new friends. My tutor was very helpful for any of my doubts and needs

The Intern Group is an excellent stepping stone for young people who want to gain work experience in a new country. Thanks to the super kind and helpful TIG team, my experience in Tokyo was positive, motivating, fun, and above all, it gave me a clearer idea of the next steps toward my future. the program has provided a decent schedule for not only the placement but also different platforms for interns to have chance to develop rapport and good relation with others. By immersing oneself in a different culture, individuals broaden their perspectives and develop a deeper appreciation for diversity. Professional development is accelerated as international work experience is gained, new skills are acquired, and professional networks are expanded.

LLooking back, NYC was an amazing experience, and I truly learned a lot about what it means to work in a USA-based company. However, I think sharing some feedback about the production company we worked with is important. While I’m grateful for the opportunities and connections I gained, the environment wasn’t ideal. Damon mentioned some issues that arose, and I’d encourage you to revisit what he shared. For me personally, we often didn’t have much to do and weren’t treated very kindly, which made the experience feel unproductive and, at times, discouraging. It wasn’t always the best introduction to the industry, but I’ve tried to focus on the positives and grow from it. I’d rather not have my name tied to any of the negative aspects, as I’m still thankful for the overall experience and everything I learned during the program. Hope this helps!

During the duration of my internship I learned a lot of valuable skills and the intern group provided me with a wealth of experience. I worked for a non profit organisation, where I was able to gain an understanding of how an ngo operates and the ins and outs of operational management. I was able to gain a lot of transferable skills which prepared me for a career in public health and ngo related work.

My intership experience was very good. It’s a great chance for people that are midway their carrier and it’s hard to find abroad internships. The inter group was very helpful with our social life outside the internship and gave us lots of chances to explore we were allocated at. The only problem I found was that in terms of internship opportunities there wasn’t a lot of options (or at least for me), and that while other interns in my company where paid I wasn’t.

My internship was incredible! I managed social media accounts (for work) and developed creative content while living in New York City. Experiencing the city’s fast-paced, inspiring culture taught me adaptability and resilience. Exploring its energy and creativity made it truly unforgettable.

I had a great time in Melbourne. I loved the culture, the food and most importantly the Melbourne program and the internship experience. I especially loved the wildlife tour as we got to see Australia's unique wildlife and spend time in the Mornington Peninsula. Overall, this was 100% worth it!

I had never been to Latin America before, so Colombia was my introduction. María, the experience coordinator, was just excellent; I don't think there is anybody else better at their job. I worked at Salazar Asesores and the work culture was so down to earth and family-like, which is exactly my type of vibe. In addition, Comuna Trece felt like a different universe, and I'm a foodie, and the food scene did not disappoint. Also, Medellín really is the city of eternal spring and I was just grateful to be there all the time. I was happy. Every single person was willing to help you. It was just amazing.

I learned a lot of practical skills at my internship and got a true taste of what working in the IT field is like. Before I had never thought of working in software engineer. Even when I was applying for roles in NY my top preference was finance. However, this internship made me rethink my options and shift my career goals to be more tech oriented because I enjoyed the experience so much. I learned more within 6 weeks than I would in a semester at school.

The Intern Group were very accommodating and attentive. I spent two months in Madrid and throughout those two months Lalita and Nik were always making sure our internship was going smoothly and if we had any issues that would resolve as soon as possible. Nik is great! She really makes you feel like you are part of Madrid.

I recently completed an internship in Hong Kong for 7 weeks under the Intern Group. Their support was key for settling into the culture there and provided me with someone to talk to when the going got tough. Thanks to their support, I could thrive in a foreign country by meeting new people and working in a great company. I was able to experience so many new things thanks to them and these experiences will be invaluable to me in my life going forward. I could not recommend this internship more. It allowed me to grow in ways I never thought I could.

My 10-week internship was an incredible success. Entering the experience with an open mind allowed me to truly reap its full benefits. The people I met, the fun I had, and the overall opportunity were all amazing. I've made numerous new friends and grown significantly more comfortable with myself, both personally and professionally. I'm thrilled to have secured full-time employment from it and now truly feel like a Melbournian. And... I just have to give a huge shoutout to Perth. She was truly phenomenal. Always a friendly face and ready to chat whenever we needed her. Her caring nature and bubbly personality made everything feel so welcoming, and she really knows her stuff about the city and the intern lifestyle. The experiences she planned for us were fantastic. Her punctuality and communication were always on point, and the work-life balance she promotes is something I'll carry with me in my own journey. I’m really going to miss hanging out with her and all the fun times we shared.

I learned alot about myself and my profession capabilities in this trip. I realised that being alone doesn’t have to mean something scary , and also how beautiful exploring other cultures can be. I made friends and I worked and it seemed perfect.

My experience traveling to Bangkok for my first solo excursion abroad was incredibly fulfilling and comfortable. I was fortunate to be placed in a job where my skills were relevant and well-utilized. The accommodations provided were excellent, and I appreciated the funded excursions organized by TIG. While my overall experience was positive, there are areas where the organization could improve. It seems the company is somewhat understaffed, which may impact its ability to fully support the number of interns it manages. During the placement process, I narrowly secured an internship that aligned with my career interests within the available time frame. The initial job opportunities presented to me did not align well with my professional goals, and the placement process felt a bit rushed. That said, I understand the challenges the organization faces, particularly with coordinating across multiple time zones and working within tight schedules. Despite these difficulties, once I arrived on-site, the program did an excellent job ensuring I felt comfortable and supported in adapting to a new country. In conclusion, while there are some challenges in the placement process, the on-site experience is highly rewarding, and I appreciate the efforts made by TIG to facilitate a positive and enriching internship experience.

It was such a blessing to call Bangkok home for 8 weeks! This program was incredible and I've been able to make so many valuable connections throughout this journey. Unfortunately I seemed to get the short end of the stick when it came to the actual internship, as it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, but everything outside of work was amazing. I feel like I got to do and see so much in Thailand, yet barely scratched the surface of what the beautiful country has to offer. TIG was very helpful; Jinnie put together events and weekly meet-ups for us to see different parts of the culture. This was a great experience overall, I'm glad I did it.

Interning in Hong Kong has been an incredible experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. It not only allowed me to travel, explore, and work in Asia for the first time, but it also gave me the chance to represent my accomplishments and the legacy of my historically Black college. Additionally, I was able to delve into the vibrant city and engage with the significance of humanitarian aid, which was made possible by the supportive intern group that I’m deeply grateful for.

My experience this summer has honestly been a dream come true with all of the new friends I’ve made, challenging work experience I’ve been put through and amazing new culture I’ve learnt about. The intern group staff were also a pleasure to connect with at all times, especially my experience co-ordinator Jinnie who made me feel welcome from start to end whilst setting up lots of really fun meet ups with other interns. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who’s interested in furthering their career whilst also having a meeting new people, learning new culture and just overall having a great time!

The Melbourne program was very organized and it was helpful whenever we needed anything from start to end, before the internship began and to the very end of the internship. It is an easy way to find an internship abroad which was helpful since i wouldn't know how to reach companies. I like that we would get a refund if we were not placed and I like that we didn’t have to pay to get accepted into the program.

I had an absolute blast working for Greenspace ESG for the last 10 weeks. The experience with both my employment and the Intern Group have been seamless and some of the best moments of my life. The genuine friends made along the way will be those that I keep close to myself for life, and the memories shared are at the pinnacle. I will miss Melbourne and its quirks as I return to the United States. I will miss Perth, the Experience Coordinator and all those involved with my time in country, as they made the trips and experiences that much more enjoyable. Within my internship, I have learned a whole new aspect to my university major, marine biology, involving hydroponics and the change from seed to crop. These teachings have not only opened my mind to other employment opportunities in this field, but has allowed me to earn university credits back home. I have fell in love with Australia and everything that has occurred while here, and cannot wait to continue my studies back home to return here one day.

My six-week journey in Melbourne with The Intern Group and Tasty Fresh has been an unforgettable experience filled with professional growth, cultural immersion, and personal development. Living independently in a new city, let alone a new country, taught me essential life skills such as independance, time management, budgeting, and adaptibility. During my internship with Tasty Fresh, I had multiple projects such as Ethical Hacking, Raspberry Pi Devices, Software Development, Web Development and Electrical Engineering. This provided me with a variety of skills that I have developed over the 6 week internship. Working with colleagues from different backgrounds and cultures broadened my perspective and enhanced my ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting. Some of the most memorable experiences was Interacting with Australia’s iconic wildlife such as feeding kangaroos and meeting koalas. Visiting the Melbourne Skydeck offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. The vineyard tour was a delightful excursion where I learned about local wine production and enjoyed tasting some of the region’s finest wines. It was a perfect blend of education and leisure. Attending an Australian Football League (AFL) game was an exciting, confusing and immersive experience. The energy and passion of the fans were contagious, it gave me a deep appreciation for Australia’s sports culture. My six-week internship in Melbourne with The Intern Group and Tasty Fresh has been transformative. The professional skills I gained, the cultural experiences I enjoyed, and the personal growth I achieved have all contributed to making this journey a pivotal chapter in my career and personal life. I am immensely grateful for this opportunity and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an enriching internship experience.

As someone from the UK, I always dreamt of going to the US, especially working there. With the intern group they made that into a reality. The help and support they give you is second to none and offer many more social activities and and outings which you get to do together. The work place was amazing and was a smooth process from the interview to the onboarding. Overall was an amazing time.

I had an amazing experience interning in Madrid. I am going into my third year of undergrad and this was the perfect summer to do this. I learned so much professionally, socially, and culturally and I will remember this summer forever.

When you think of doing an internship abroad you should know that there are going to be many unexpected situations which you can obviously find the solution. However, the TIG team in Madrid is always available to help you in case of any situation. They might let you know their working hours, but in reality everyone is available all the time. When I started my internship I was not sure if this is what I should be doing or if there is a future in this position or not. Yet I took the biggest risk of talking to my supervisor and that turned out to be my best choice of action. So when you get to you internship and you start linking the atmosphere and the work that you are doing you should not be afraid to ask for more, the chances are very high that the team is looking for someone just like you. What concerns the social life in Madrid I think it is the best city ever to have a social life, because everyone is having a great time and they all have good work/life balance. One advice is to not be scared of making friends and try to get to know more people make new connections. The chances are you will make friends that are going to be in your life forever. So do I suggest you take a long shot and go to a whole new place where you don't know the language or have no friends? Yes, I definitely suggest you!

Well, I had an amazing time at Madrid I was able to make friends and connections with people of our internship group and with the coworkers I worked with. I had selected one of the roughest works schedules offered you will be able to do lots of things still just know that you might get burned out if you have a long commuting distance to your workplace. I had a great company to do my internship with the best thing for you to do is talk, ask and do what you can to help and make a fun environment to the workplace and your coworkers if I were to stay longer I would have definitely done more, if you do you have a higher chance to get a job and what you want and what you are looking for I was able to make good friends with my boss and he took me over to places to hike and visit amazing places its good to speak Spanish and my company was called Fundación madrina! Madrid offers the best night life so you can go to clubs and restaurants, and they don't close till late at night I had the pleasure to go during Real Madrid winning champions league and Spain winning the EUROS! It was the best experience ever! I also had the experience to visit other cities in Spain visiting Barcelona and Pamplona was able to go watch f1 Races and San Fermin which starts at July 7th to July 14! My recommendations are to get the travel card where you can travel all of Europe for cheaper train rides. Make trips with people in the internship so that you can make a cheaper visit to places with Airbnb. Sunset is 9:30 - 9:40pm during the summer! Niki and Lalita where very helpful contact them if you have a question or an emergency. Niki plans events go to them and have fun! Be very careful when you go out people to steal phones in the city especially at clubs, and if you look like foreigners.

I enjoyed exchanging culture with different interns from the intern group. I loved hanging out with them after working 9-5 and was able to learn a lot. It was also fulfilling working and experiencing how a 9-5 in NYC especially near Wall Street. It was a dream into reality.

The experience itself was amazing - Madrid is an incredible city, especially for younger people. First and foremost, the team at TIG is splendid. Extremely kind and supportive. As an intern, I felt like I barely took care of any logistics, as everything was taken care of for me, and any issues that I faced I was supported throughout. Big thank you to Lalita for all her help while I was here, when I needed anything. And also a big thank you to Nikte, event coordinator, who planned fun and unique events and was also there to listen if we needed any help. Truly enjoyed meeting both of them! Transport system is great and extremely cheap compared to other cities (8 euros for a month of bus/metro pass). So much culture, art, food, dance, etc. In a city like this you really have to immerse yourself to live the best experience. So if you are someone that loves culture and exploring, you will love Madrid. Everything is so close if you live in the center, max 15 minute walk to almost everything. Only feedback I would give to future interns is actually just a disclaimer - the summer here is very hot (but manageable, as it is dry warmth), and travelling outside of Madrid is at its peak in terms of how expensive it gets to travel in Europe! Again, I would highly recommend and will look back at this experience with a sense of gratitude, not only for the professional skills and insights I gained but also for the amazing time I had in Madrid, meeting great people, learning new things, and growing personally.

I had an amazing experience interning in Bangkok this summer! The 6 weeks I was here have been some of the best weeks of my life so far. Outside of my internship, the TIG staff were really helpful, friendly and organised great events where I felt immersed in Thai culture. The only thing I would comment on is the fact that my internship was not related to my chosen career field. However saying this, my internship helped me in developing transferable skills that I will be able to apply to my future career, so my time was well spent and extremely fulfilling. I feel a sense of academic and personal growth due to TIG and would recommend to anyone who wants to advance their career by working internationally.

The intern group staff on the ground were truly incredible. Jinnie was always there to support us and see if we need anything, as well as organize meetups for the group and ensure everyone was safe and having fun.

My internship was a 6 month program in a non-TIG accommodation. The advisors were down to earth people, always available, and very helpful. My internship was an IT based one. I really enjoyed the company I worked at. All of my coworkers were very accommodating and I had a healthy work-life balance. Outside of the internship, there were many events that TIG hosted, including welcome parties for new Interns once or twice a month, going to landmarks in and around Tokyo, and outings to the nearby Kanagawa prefecture. I got along well with my fellow interns within the program and we also organized doing our own explorations of Tokyo. My only complaint is that the program fees are a little expensive, but if money is no a problem, I would whole-heartedly recommend this program to anyone looking to gain work experience in Tokyo or broaden their international perspective.

Choosing to intern in Bangkok this summer was a shot in the dark, but it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. For starters, BKK is an amazing city. It is unbelievably vibrant and cheap, with good public transport and safety. The food is super high quality, every neighborhood feels incredibly distinct, and you will literally never be bored. As for the work experience, I absolutely loved my job. So many internships dissolve to interns simply getting lunch and coffee, but I was able to immerse myself in my company's operations. I learned so much about the industry, the SEA ecosystem, and my own personal career goals. In general, if you aren't sure what you want to do next summer, this is the perfect opportunity for you. There's no better way to learn about yourself and grow as a person than by diving headfirst into a new culture. Bangkok is the perfect city for interns simply because it is so lively, cheap, and International, so you're always experiencing new things. Finally, working at companies that want you to get involved in every area is a blessing. With that said, definitely give TIG Bangkok a try!

Thanks to this program, I managed to improve my english, I made new friends, I had an internship in a great company. New York City is wild, definitely the city who never sleeps, but I had a great time there!

My experience interning in Bangkok was great - both the internship and cultural experiences were phenomenal and I had an amazing time. In terms of the internship, I got to work at a super interesting host company that was and will be useful as I evaluate next steps in terms of my career goals. The program itself was well-organised and very fun. The activities offered opportunities for cultural immersion and were useful as I figured out how I wanted to spend my time in the city throughout the two months. Jinnie and Tarn were wonderful points of contact who were very responsive, helpful, and kind :) Overall had an amazing time and so glad I chose to come to Bangkok this summer!

Perhaps I consider it the best life-changing experience. Beautiful people, amazing tour guide (Brian) in the most iconic city in the world. Moreover, yhe possibility of meeting people from all over the world has represented a real personal enrichment

I loved spending 8 weeks in Tokyo and could not have asked for a better internship. I interned for a consulting company and learned so much in the span of two months. I also loved all of the day trips and excursions planned through the intern group like visiting Kamakura and Mt. Fuji! For anyone considering this program just know that you will be able to experience so many cool things while having the support you need to be successful both personally and professionally!

Moving to New York was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. I really enjoyed working in the city, living the New York lifestyle and exploring the endless things to do in the city. I made so many great friends and have some many great memories, thanks to the intern group!

My experience in New York with the intern group was incredible. We had the opportunity to work in the big city and make many new international friends during our events on the weekends. It was the best experience I’ve ever had !

NYC was THE highlight in my life and I had the best experience of my life. The internship was great. I made new international friends and explored new places. Tried different cuisines and cultural activities. Experienced the best days of my life.

My intership in New York has been amazing. I have spent 20 weeks at Kvibe Studios, learning all about videography, AI and so much more. The entire experience has been great, with fun events hosted by The Intern Group every weekend. Got to know a lot of fellow interns and colleagues. I would definitely recommend doing an international internship!

The TIG staff in Bangkok were extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. They planned culture immersion and social experiences to cultivate a strong intern community. Being so far away from home, I appreciated the emphasis on community-building and work-life balance. My internship placement also developed my professional skillset and aligned with my career goals. The work environment was flexible yet encouraging, which I valued. Further, my accommodation was lovely and met my expectations!

I really enjoyed my 10-week internship program in London. I appreciate that TIG checked in on me periodically to make sure I was ok. They regularly sent updates of things going on and things to do in London. Their staff responded promptly whenever I contacted them (before and during my internship). I also liked the three events that were offered as part of my program. The internship itself ultimately went well, though I wasn’t happy with it at first. I expected more structure and mentoring. I think those things would’ve made this a more effective internship. The people at the company were great; it’s just that the way things were done was a bit chaotic. However, I still gained so much from the experience. I was pushed out of my comfort zone (for the better), tried new things, and was able to make a difference at the company. My experience made me more confident and capable, and it helped me get a job in a new career field. The professional and internship preparation resources offered by TIG were helpful and interesting. However, I was disappointed that they did not follow through on the alumni success coaching session as promised after my internship. Overall, I had a wonderful time in London. I did pretty much everything I wanted to do, and my time there helped me grow personally and professionally. I’m so late with this since my internship was from the end of November 2023 to the beginning of February 2024, but thank you for everything, TIG!

I really enjoyed my experience in Thailand with the help of The Intern Group. I absolutely loved the staff (Jinnie and Tarn) for helping me get situated (although there were some room difficulties within the accommodation - bathroom curtains) but that was a minor issue and I overall really enjoyed my stay there. I also really enjoyed the activities that they had prepared for us and would definitely recommend taking advantage of them. I'm very glad I was also set up with the company that I am currently working at and I have met the kindest people here :) this was a great experience!

My internship in Hong Kong was great. I gained valuable work experience, met amazing people, and ate amazing food! The opportunity to combine my interests in travel and work was a gift. I could not recommend this more!

TIG has been very responsive and thorough from placement to program end. Not only did I receive an educational internship but I also felt immersed within the program destination culture and people through the excursions that were offered. The internship was well aligned with my academic studies and gave me valuable insight into a potential future career choice. The hours and tasks of the internship may be demanding at times but the excursions and hang-outs organized by TIG provides an opportunity away from the work stress, cultivating a healthy work-life balance. I am really glad to have embarked on this experience and to have met so many amazing people. It is really a one of a kind experience.

The Intern group provided me with great housing and supplied train transportation cards to get around Bangkok. They also planned many group-bonding and culturally immersive events in all the small and wonderful corners of Bangkok, from great food to beautiful sights. I am grateful to have had my first internship abroad experience with this intern group and in Bangkok, Thailand. My work experience was super productive and conducive to my professional skillset. I learned how to manage my time, given that my work was mainly virtual, and to travel around to coffee shops and malls for nice working spots. I am grateful for my two bosses and my three other intern members that are from my school.

This is definitely something manyshould take a chance with. Regardless of the country, the internship provides you with everything you need to move forward. They make you feel comfortable and welcome in foreign places and are always there for any problems you might face.. Dont miss the chance to do this, definitely go forward with the internship and itll be am experience worth keeping.

I has an overseas placement for about 4 weeks which flew by really quickly! It was a wonderful insight into the corporate culture in another city and gave me a good insight into a good work life balance. The working hours were great as it was a hybrid role which allowed me to spend time in nearby cafes and explore the city. The bangkok team organised great cultural events and had good recommendations for the best places in bangkok. The four weeks are quite short so I’d definitely recommend staying abit longer to socialise with other interns and maximise souvenir shopping :)

Despite the fact that I wasn't placed in a social work position as the Intern Group promised, the company I worked with was good. Hours were good, some short days and some longer days which allowed me to explore the city during the weekdays as well as the weekends. However, the team on site were amazing. They organised meet-ups in super fun spots, there is definetly something for everyone. The trips/excursions were also really fun and allowed us to really immerse in the local culture. Overall, I'd say it was an amazing experience and I am taking a lot away with me but I feel it is important to mention that although it may seem like it - they can't always offer you an internship in your chosen career field. Will miss Bangkok and the other interns very much!

I had a short time of my life and career in Madrid for an internship in the area of business development, working in a startup of the country. This experience was very useful for several aspects such as new knowledge and skills which following my interests and my studies, the possibility to do mistakes and learn a new language. Madrid is a wonderful capital and a very enjoyable place to spend time, especially with the arrive of the spring! Strongly suggested for a first job experience!

Choosing the Location Applied in Jan 2024 to The Intern Group's 6-week Tokyo program that began in April 2024. Initially took a week to decide which location I would go to but after that, the decision making process was done quite fast including deciding to withdraw my interest for the first job offer hoping that, the next offer would better suit what I would like to learn. I would say, go for a bigger company if you are undecided and would like to enjoy perks that could include free snacks, more clubbing, more drinking sessions etc. Choose a small company (less than 5) if you are certain on what skill set to learn and can see yourself implementing your ideas at, independently. While in Tokyo Erika has been my main go-to coordinator and she has done a superb job at organising weekly meetups, checking in on us via text or having one-on-one dates and being the best guide around Tokyo! Many occasions, she'd be the link between us interns and the locals and I truly find her a lifesaver. Wouldn't have been able to order my favourite orange juice without her! I hope future interns will get to meet someone like Erika when they are miles away from home. Wrapping Up and Future Plans I wish I could stay in Tokyo for longer. It is my last week here and I am wrapping up my project and applying to full time roles in Japan and back home. I will remember the connections that I've made and the skills I've gained which will continue to shape my career.

I had the best time doing my internship in Madrid and it far exceeded my expectations. From my living situation and the people I met to the cultural immersion and the work experience, I enjoyed every aspect. To anyone considering doing it I would wholeheartedly recommend this programme as it gives you a chance to get straight into a comfortable situation and start enjoying the city. It felt really out of my comfort zone and a daunting prospect but as soon as I got there I was able to feel at ease. The intern group do a brilliant job at making you feel at home right away and this allowed me to enjoy even the short time of 6 weeks that I was there to the fullest. Thank you for an amazing experience and I am missing it already!

I finally got to try working in a new country. On top of that, I got to experience Japan in great detail and try unique things I wouldn't otherwise do as a regular tourist. I also got to meet a lot of people trough my sharehouse and through the organized meet ups and excursions.

My experience in Hong Kong was great. The support from TIG was splendid. My time was filled with many learning experiences and gave me more confidence in a professional environment. This internship also gave me a connection. Fast forward 3 years later after my masters degree, I got in touch with the connection I had Hong Kong and I was offered a remote full-time job at the company I interned for. I am grateful to TIG and the Hong Kong experience coordinators. I personally recommend The TIG service.

The Melbourne program was very organized and it was helpful whenever we needed anything from start to end, before the internship began and to the very end of the internship. It is an easy way to find an internship abroad which was helpful since i wouldn't know how to reach companies. I like that we would get a refund if we were not placed and I like that we didn’t have to pay to get accepted into the program.

New York City was the best time of my life, it has such a rich culture and nothing I ever experienced before. Some facilities that the program offered were average but my overall internship experience was incredible. I was in fashion, and was lucky enough to be emerged into stuff for NYFW, work side by side with amazing industry workers and overall gain a new set of skills. I loved the group outings that we went on every weekend, and meeting the other interns and being able to mingle with them made my experience better. I stayed in my own accommodation (with my sister) which I would recommend. I loved being able to tour and explore the Burroughs and meet new people. The baseball games were a standout and Williamsburg for thrifting was my favourite! The different kinds of food were something else entirely, there were so many choices! Going in summer too was amazing, the weather is so warm and to see the millions of people in such a city was just INSANE

The Intern Group did a great job at placing me and my friend at ARS Investment Partners. I really enjoyed my workplace, peers, and most importantly has really prepped me for my future career. The only downside was the accomodation, which was not one my biggest concerns, but I understood some friends had issues.

The TIG Tokyo Team was amazing. In this particular I’d like to note about ERICA. I think she went above and beyond. She was very organised, approachable and always responded our queries in timely manner. The programme was well organised and full of activities to enrich our experiences. The communication pack about everything we need to know in Tokyo was very helpful. I felt that I was well equipped to go on my journey in the internship in Tokyo, Japan. Alisha was helpful too and did her best to assist. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Japan and gained a lot of insights around the business, culture and strategy. Thanks Erica and Alisha for all your help. All the best for your future.

This program was the most fun, exciting, new and growth-inducing experience I’ve had in my life yet. The company I worked at was very open to giving me new projects, exposure to company processes and letting me grow into the role. The social events were very well conducted and everyone interning felt welcoming and friendly. Brian, our coordinator, did an excellent job at involving us all.

It was great being in New York. I had a good time. Placement was good, work colleagues and supervisors were good. Social life was good. New York was a great place to spend the past 6 weeks. It was a heaps good time.

My internship in NYC was awesome! I got to work on cool projects and learn a lot from the team. NYC is buzzing, and I met so many people in different fields. It really opened up my network and gave me a peek into the professional world. Super grateful for the experience – it’s definitely given my career a boost!

Had a great 6 weeks exploring NYC with my uni friends. Everyone at my work was super welcoming and supportive. I really enjoyed the weekend activities organised by TIG. The highlight is definitely the boat tour where we got to see a spectacular view of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.

The meaning of this intern program for me is to extend my network. And it does the job for me:) Also, the US experience is not only just about NYC, through the program, we visited different cities in the US, which broadens our vision.

I was luckily paired with a very welcoming, supportive, and competent host organisation. My company took care of me really well and it absolutely was the highlight of my internship experience. I did have to go through a number of interview rounds so keep that in mind and be selective about the company - make sure it aligns with your career goals and that you like the company culture. The company forms a massive part of your experience.

ABSOLUTELY the best lifetime experience that I will ALWAYS remember and cherish. Madrid is an amazing city and I would definitely recommend the program to anyone wanting a new adventure! I did a 6-week internship where I was given the opportunity to really immerse myself in the company and I even got invited to attend an exciting company event! I have not only gained key industry experience but I have experienced huge personal growth. There were lots of fun organised activities every week which allowed me to meet new friends and expand my network with people from around the world. The Intern Group program team in Madrid were really supportive and made me comfortable during my time there.

Far exceeded all expectations!! By far the best part of this internship/experience was all the amazing people and activities. I never considered the level of detail or organisation that the excursions would have. Then of course I met a lot of wonderful people from all around the world, some of these people I’m sure I will keep in touch with! This truly changed my overall experience for the better. The internship was well organised and my host company was very accommodating, plus I learned a lot along the way!

The experience was wondering allowing for lots of new and fun experiences. The balance of work and leisure was good allowing for plenty of time to explore and see the city. The coordinators were super helpful and willing help with any issues.

Right from the go I was blown away by the vastness of Tokyo. Every light grabs your attention and you can’t help but be amazed by it all. The intern group programme offered me an opportunity to quickly meet new people and experience Tokyo with others. This made the whole experience much less stressful and more enjoyable. It is so easy to immerse yourself in the culture, and you’ll never run out of activities to do. Working in Tokyo was great I didn’t have any issues and I really enjoyed my job. I got the opportunity to go snowboarding in Hakuba which was really fun.
