Global Internships for High School Students

The Intern Group’s High School Internship Program is a remote (virtual) internship for students aged 16+ in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and NGOs. Founded in London in 2011, we have 15,000+ alumni, 1,000+ five-star reviews on GoAbroad and Trustpilot, and 94% of alumni rate us 9+/10. Students intern online from anywhere and are matched one-to-one with a host organization by a dedicated advisor.

Program details: 4-24 weeks, 10-40 hours per week to fit around school, and start dates every two weeks year-round. Apply online, then have a 20-minute call with an admissions consultant.

What students gain:

• Teamwork, professionalism, organization, and written communication skills
• Confidence, resilience, and leadership to cite in university, job, and gap year applications
• A one-hour career coaching session on resumes, interviews, and personal branding
• Global networking, workshops, and virtual social events

Cost: $1,990 for August to mid-May starts; $2,490 for late May to July starts, regardless of length (4-24 weeks). Includes guaranteed placement once accepted, a dedicated advisor, career training, live keynote talks, 24/7 emergency support, and our alumni network. No travel, visa, or accommodation costs. At least half of our 2026 interns received a scholarship or discount; ask our team what you may be eligible for.

Academic credit: Your school decides whether to award credit, so check with your counselor before applying. We provide the documents schools typically require: offer letter, learning plan, supervisor evaluation, verified hours, and completion certificate. (Credit through our School of Record, Florida A&M University, is for enrolled college students.)

Who it suits: motivated students exploring careers or strengthening applications with practical work experience. It’s an unpaid, fee-based program and doesn’t guarantee university admission or a job offer.
