The internship has two tracks: Track One: Work with a social media company that creates an online marketing presence. Work alongside industry experts who use the latest technologies and strategies to help clients find their niche in the market. Track Two: Work with a traditional company that wants to expand its social media presence in-house. As an intern, help in improving their online presence through market analysis. This position doesn't entail too much pressure since you'll likely join the team with the necessary skills to carry out your tasks. Host companies generally include major sports teams, ecotourism organizations, and other interesting businesses.

Spend eight weeks in Mérida, a sunny and culturally rich city where Mayan and Spanish influences shape daily life. Gain professional experience in fields such as education, public health, and hospitality, while immersing yourself in the region’s vibrant traditions and warm community. Enjoy free time exploring ancient archaeological sites, swimming in crystal-clear cenotes, and tasting local dishes like cochinita pibil and sopa de lima. You can also choose to add an optional elective for additional academic credit. All participants take part in the International Internship Seminar, taught in English, which includes 15 hours of online modules. This seminar offers space to reflect on your placement, build professional skills, and better understand Mexico’s work culture.
