High School Study Abroad in Montpellier, France

Opening in Paris, The City of Light, gets this summer program started with a charge! We visit The Louvre, D'Orsay, and Pompidou museums and galleries that have stunned the wealthy and elite for generations. We climb the Eiffel Tower after a dinner at its base. Then after golden hour photos looking out over Paris, we descend in time for the strobe lighting spectacle of the Tower at 11pm. From there we traverse the countryside of Montpellier in the South of France before enjoying some well deserved time on the beaches of La Costa Brava in Spain. In Barca, we study the romantic writings of Miguel de Cervantes in Don Quixote to the magical realism of Gabriel García Márquez’s, One Hundred Years of Solitude, you will be mesmerized by the genius and depth of human creativity. Whether inspired by a glorious sunset in the Algarve or enjoying an afternoon in Gaudi’s Park Güell, this program is sure to engage and leave a profound impression on your life. Montpellier, with a university dating back to 1220 in some subjects, is famous for its academic and cultural opportunities. Participants can explore the Saint-Clément aqueduct, Frances first botanical garden, and a beautiful cathedral dating back to the 14th century. Only fifteen minutes on foot from the historic city center, the school offers a cafeteria, playground, and gated enclosure. Students will live in single rooms in the residence, and courses are limited to 15 people to ensure personal attention.
