The Bachelor of Arts in Product Design prepares critical and creative professionals to tackle social, environmental, and technological challenges. The program adopts a global, contemporary design approach, focusing on developing products, services, and experiences—physical and digital—that positively impact people and the environment. This bilingual degree includes courses taught in English from the first year, as well as international exposure through internships and the Final Project. Over four academic years, students work on diverse projects, many developed in collaboration with companies, across areas such as health, education, mobility, and culture. Learning is highly practical and workshop-based, guided by active design professionals. Much of the training takes place in the Fab Lab, where students prototype using traditional and digital techniques, including 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser cutting. The program totals 240 ECTS credits and is officially accredited, equivalent to a university degree within the European Higher Education Area. Graduates leave with a strong professional portfolio and access to official master’s and doctoral studies.

This scholarship program is designed to support outstanding students residing in the United States or holding U.S. nationality, who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and a genuine passion for the humanities. Candidates with a demonstrated social commitment and a genuine interest or connection to Spain will be highly valued. The scholarship covers up to 50% of tuition fees for the full duration of the Bachelor in Humanities or Dual Degree in Business Administration & Humanities at IE University.
