From Lima the program is easily poised to travel to other culturally and geographically rich areas of the country. Experience the heart of Inca culture and history in Cusco. Travel to Cusco is one of our highlight excursions that provides a contrast to Lima and allows us to explore and contemplate the majesty of Machu Picchu, the ancient citadel city of the Inca. Other easily accessible areas of exploration for the program are Paracas and the Ballestas Islands as well as Huacachina and the desert sand dunes. Through partnerships with top universities in Lima a variety of academic topics can be explored and studied. Spend a semester or academic year in the vibrant and energetic city of Perth, Australia, with AIFS Abroad! You’ll earn up to 16 credits per semester through a variety of courses studying at Murdoch University. Courses are taught in English. You can spend a week in Fiji and earn 1 credit through the optional Pacific Studies program at the University of the South Pacific. Internships are available in exercise science and public policy.
