Volunteering with IVHQ was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I signed up, I felt supported and well-informed. As a first-time traveler I was nervous, but IVHQ made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their guidance before departure, detailed information, and constant communication helped me feel confident and excited about my journey. Once I arrived at my destination, the local team was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They made sure I felt safe, comfortable, and prepared. They were always available to answer questions and offer support, which made a huge difference in adjusting to a new environment. The volunteer work itself was fulfilling and meaningful. I felt like I was contributing to something bigger than myself, and the connections I made with both the local community and fellow volunteers were unforgettable. I would absolutely recommend IVHQ to anyone looking to volunteer abroad, especially if it’s your first time traveling. Everything was great when volunteering with IVHQ. The organization prior to the trip and communication was fantastic. When in Zambia, the local team was great, they were very kind, open-minded and organized. The local team knew everything, helped us with transport and organizing all of the activies me and the volunteers were interested in doing. Furthermore, I want to highlight the availability of staff 24/7. Teaching in Zambia was a heart warming experience. People in Zambia are very welcoming which makes you be more empathic. I am willing to repeat it in the future together with IVHQ.
