Find out why more and more people are choosing to become a Love Volunteer! Love Volunteers is the most affordable way to volunteer and help local communities in developing countries! Why are we cheaper than other organisations? Firstly, we are just a handful of passionate people working hard to help volunteers and local communities around the world. We don't have huge overheads - no company cars, no downtown office - we're just volunteers who knew we could do a better job. Secondly, we work with local organisations wherever we can to keep administration costs to a minimum and also to feed as much money and skills into the local communities where we operate. All of Love Volunteers partner organisations have been fully vetted to ensure that, not only does a genuine need for assistance exist, but that the environments that we place our volunteers are safe and of high quality. Choose from one or more of our 200+ amazing community-based programs in 37 developing countries around the world. Every program has been personally visited by one of our dedicated staff members and is regularly audited to ensure it meets our high standards in terms of safety, sustainability, and local impact.

Our immersive Service Learning Trips offer the perfect opportunity to travel abroad, experience a new culture, and forge lifelong friendships—all while making a meaningful impact on a community in need. Our student volunteers participate in service activities such as building schools, playgrounds, and painting classroom walls and murals. Students also have the opportunity for cultural immersion activities including shadow visits to local community members homes, and an opportunity to teach the local students in the community. Through this experience, students develop a profound awareness of their privilege and make a personal commitment to using that privilege to drive positive change in the world through the power of giving. These service trips cultivate empathy and understanding by connecting young adults with the lived realities of others. In just one week, participants step out of their comfort zones and work together toward a shared goal—building a school or playground for primary school children. The journey is filled with joy, laughter, and gratitude as they witness a new reality unfold and see the tangible impact of their efforts.

Volunteer in a community development program bringing hope, healing, and empowerment to the people of mountain villages around the community of San Matias, Honduras. Deliver and install clean water filtration systems for families, pour concrete floors in homes, teach in a local school, or assist with medical/dental clinics. Aside from having some of the region’s most extensive tropical rainforests, stunning landscapes, and abundant wildlife, Honduras boasts a rich history and culture influenced by the Mayan civilization, Spanish colonization, and Afro-Caribbean traditions. In the short week of group service, GCAC makes time to take in the beauty of the land and the people.
