In this Travel and Tourism placement from World Internships, interns will become familiar with Australia's many World Heritage Sites, including Macquarie Island, Shark Bay, and the Tasmanian Wilderness. Interns will promote Australian tourism by working for various travel agencies, backpacker hostels, tour companies, and travel information services. As an intern on a program that spans several months, you will have the opportunity to experience Aussie life and culture, and explore the country's many beaches and deserts, and the Australian Outback. The Land Down Under also offers various harbors, ideal surfing spots, primeval rainforests and blue mountains, and the largest coral reef system in the world. This program is also open to volunteers.
