I went to Tanzania, Africa. By far my favorite trip I’ve ever taken in my life. I feel as I have a whole new family and a second home. The guides and locals were so welcoming and friendly. The others on the trip were in the same boat as me so I was very comfortable and happy. I will for sure be taking another trip with GIVE volunteers. 100/10 experience, if you think you wanna do it, don’t think, just go for it!

As a Science teacher iam expecting to experience new teaching and learning skills in as far as Science teaching and learning is concerned. I would like to share my Science teaching and learning skills

RICH summer camp was one of the best holidays I have had in my life. The people around me, staff and students included were all very nice, and all supported me when I couldn’t understand something. The lessons weren’t nearly as bad as I was imagining, and were often very fun. The staff gave us lots of independence, such as letting us do what we wanted in a shopping mall, or allowing us to play football in our free time. This was an incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn Chinese.

During my time abroad, I really fell in love with the career of speech, language pathology, and it made me a lot more excited to pursue my education. I was able to get firsthand experience in what speech pathology looks like in many different ways and I would’ve never had an opportunity like this if I didn’t sign up for Therapy Abroad

My trip to the Big Island of Hawai’i changed my life and the way that I connect with my inner humanity. Yes, I got to go on amazing adventures like snorkeling with sea turtles, climbing a volcano and seeing it actually erupt, chasing waterfalls, exploring caves and black sand beaches, and so much more. But what made it all worth it was the relationships that I created and the wisdom that I received by living and working alongside the locals. Our project hosts gave me so many life tools with the completion of every project and our guides, Traven, Jordan, and Liv, where there to help our group every step of the way. Every time I pulled an invasive species out of the Earth, I pulled invasive thoughts out of my head. Every time I removed waste from the coastlines, I removed waste within myself. And every time I learned more of the Native’s wisdom, I unlearned the American norm of making a living and relearned the human beauty in making a life. I recommend this life altering trip to anyone and everyone. I felt so safe, so guided, and so changed the entire time. Thank you to the locals of the Big Island for welcoming me as family, my new ‘ohana that I found in my fellow volunteers, and GIVE for helping to make a trip like this possible.

Everything went well with no surprises. You pay, get an account started, then you're free to learn. I watched quite a few lessons and have to disagree with a review I read of the course (unless they've changed the vidos) - there's no AI video voices...not that it would really have mattered to me, but AI did ironically bring it up to me as a potential negative. I did the 120-hour course rather than the longer one, so perhaps that's the culprit, but the 120 has real voices. The culture unit was interesting but I'd say they all taught me many new things, so I'm good with it all. I didn't get my own tutor, but two different tutors did respond to my questions pretty sharp. That's me. It's a good course.

Completing an international internship in Barcelona gave me the opportunity to grow professionally, personally, and culturally while gaining valuable experience in a global work environment. During my internship, I worked with the European Large Families Confederation (ELFAC), where I developed skills in communication, marketing, content creation, project management, and collaboration with an international team. I was able to contribute to meaningful projects while learning how organizations operate across different cultures. Beyond the professional experience, living abroad helped me become more independent, adaptable, and confident. I was able to explore a new country, connect with people from different backgrounds, and step outside of my comfort zone. The support provided by Absolute Internship made the transition into an international experience much smoother. I would highly recommend Absolute Internship to any student looking to gain career experience, expand their global perspective, and create lifelong memories. This program is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to develop professionally while experiencing a new culture.

The staff in charge of the program were very helpful in trying to assist students. However for my program, there were only 2 placement groups:beginner and advanced. For me, I didn’t fit into either the groups. The advance was too hard and the beginner group was super basic. For example it only covered basic concepts such as greetings.

I had a lot of fun and got to go on trips (apart from the program, mostly) to see a lot of awesome places during the weekends this summer. I learned a lot more Spanish and improved my speaking pace, while also being able to understand a lot more and at a much quicker listening pace as well. That is the thing I think I am most proud of is my improvements with the language. But I am glad I studied abroad because it also gave me a LOT of opportunities to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. I have grown a lot as a person even in just 2 and a half months here. The nature and wildlife here are incredible and worth seeing.

My first experience as a volunteer abroad and I precisely picked upbio up because they seemed serious committed and professional. I wasn't wrong! Their project is effective and they are making a difference. I'm glad I have been part of this for a while.
