Xplore Costa Rica TEFL Program with Guaranteed Placement

I really enjoyed my classes and the students I got to teach over the academic year. My house and neighbour were lovely and peaceful. I got to date, go out and explore Costa Rica in a fun and safe way. The pay was good, and everyone has been friendly to me. However, I've never been paid on time, I've been ignored, overworked, and stressed to the point of illness. The admin at my school is the worst I've ever seen. They make me feel undervalued and like they don't want me. This has been mostly over the last three months that I have lived here, which is a shame as it tarnishes a lot of the good times I had here.

My experience with XploreAsia has been amazing so far. My placement is in a small, easy-to-navigate environment, and I absolutely love my school. I won’t lie — at first it was definitely a culture shock, and adjusting was challenging. I had moments of homesickness and even a few tears. But being here has been such a meaningful and rewarding experience, and I’m so glad I chose to do this. Living and teaching in Thailand has helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. I love the people, the culture, and the lifestyle so much that I’ve already decided I’ll be staying longer than I originally planned. Thailand truly feels so free!!

Doing my TEFL and placement through Xplore Asia in Costa Rica was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
