Asia Internship Program

I was so incredibly fortunate to be accepted into AIP’s internship program. The people at AIP were extremely accommodating and kind and helped me navigate my way through a new country. They provided me with accommodation and a host company where I worked full-time at for 6 weeks. I spent my internship in Bangkok, and it was an amazing experience of learning, doing new things and exploring. Thank you for looking after me during the internship, I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is interested!

It has been an interesting experience. While it was partially my fault, I felt like I wish I was able to interview with more companies and be able to have chosen a more prepared company for interns. Besides that I really did enjoy my experience! I still learned a lot of new things such as the language, food, culture and history of South Korea and have been able to try a lot of new hobbies and experience things I wouldn’t have been able to in my home country.

My internship experience in Taiwan was a very fulfilling one. Having the chance to work with local colleagues on various projects gave me a different perspective that extended far beyond what I was used to in Singapore. There is a difference between visiting a country as a tourist and actually living and working there. AIP provided me with the safety net and opportunity to navigate an international workplace without feeling completely on my own. I'm very grateful for the experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a similar experience.
