The AIP team helped me with all the process, from finding me an internship in a company in Italy, to giving me visa advice, and was always there for me through text whenever I needed help or had any concerns when I was in Italy. The internship itself was a great experience. I made new friends, I was placed in a company that basically taught me so many new skills and knowledge that I could use continuing my degree and for my future job. And of course overall Italy, is beautiful! Italy has definitely been one of the countries in my bucket list to visit so the fact that I got the chance to travel and experience Italy while doing an internship, it was amazing and I highly recommend everyone to get out of your comfort zone and start your career journey with AIP!

While searching for internship opportunities in Asia, I stumbled upon Asia Internship Program (AIP) with the desire to conduct an internship in China or Hong Kong, but unfortunately, due to delta variant outburst, I was informed by my supervisor about my inability to travel to China or Hong Kong. There were few options provided by my coordinator that included withdrawing from the program or switching to a different program. The most recent program AIP opened up was in Italy and I was able to travel there without quarantine at all. The hosting company was amazing and I’ve managed to learn a lot through the 3 months.

I always loved the culture and was also where my love for football came from. So when the opportunity cam to do an internship there, I jumped at it. Not only was the internship great and process so easy due to the 24/7 assistance from AIP, I had a blast going around Italy. I even got to visit my football team's stadium! Thank you AIP!
