Karma Foundation in Pune is a full-fledged animal hospital providing free treatment to stray and community animals. We handle 200 - 300 patients and perform about 200 surgeries monthly, from routine sterilizations to complex orthopedic and spinal procedures. Interns gain hands-on experience in diagnostics, surgery, anesthesia, intensive care, laboratory work, and hospital management in a high-volume rescue setting. We see a wide variety of cases, offering rich learning opportunities under experienced veterinarians. Our facilities include X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house blood testing, endoscopy, and a fully equipped operating theater with a ventilator and advanced orthopedic instruments. This program is perfect for veterinary students or recent graduates looking to gain practical skills while supporting animal welfare. Interns are provided with free on-site accommodation.
