At the first day of my internship programme there was a orientation programme for 3 days. they told us about the property how they runs & which department is situated where in the hotel. I have completed my internship programme from JW Marriott. I enjoyed & learned various skills such as multitasking, Communicating, learning to deal with diversity & dealing with deadlines are diffrent when you are working for others. The internship helps me to enhance my skills in kithchen.

For students who are looking for the perfect abroad experience, I would highly recommend Beyond Academy. My internship experience with Beyond Academy was incredibly valuable, both professionally and personally. I had such a great summer with the Beyond Academy programme! From the very first application to them, they were always there to guide me and give me advice. I got some great feedback and help with my CV and some really good interview practice. The internship I ended up doing was a marketing internship with a theatre in Islington. It was so much fun! I learned so many skills, and gained a lot of useful experience. Especially where PR is considered! I'm already in talks for a graduate job directly because of this experience! The London coordinators were such great people and super helpful! They were also a lot of fun at the Beyond events I attended (of which there were a lot, and often were covered as part of the programme)! Overall, I highly recommend using Beyond as it is such a stress-free way to complete an internship, experience the culture of another city, and really stands out on a resume!

A program like this feels like its too good to be true. Especially when you consider I found them on Instagram. Regardless, it was one of the BEST experiences OF MY LIFE!!! The Beyond Academy staff was so beyond helpful with finding me a placement, getting me a visa, etc. Once I was in London (my placement location), the community team was there supporting me before I even set my bags down. Litterally, I had to call them to get my accommodation keys and they helped solve the issue in minutes! I could not have asked for a better experience with a better program!

I chose AIFS Abroad because of their strong reputation for international internships and the level of support they provide throughout the experience. They successfully helped me find a placement aligned with my career goals. I joined the London Internship Program in Spring 2025, drawn to the city’s vibrant culture, global connections, and professional opportunities in the theatre community. From start to finish, the AIFS team was incredibly supportive—answering questions before departure, guiding us during orientation, and checking in regularly while we were abroad. The housing was safe and well-located, and I loved the group excursions to Stonehenge and the Cotswolds, which helped me to make friends with other study abroad students/interns in my program. My internship at a local theatre gave me real-world experience, improved my communication skills, and boosted my confidence in navigating a professional environment abroad. There was equal opportunity to enjoy the city to the fullest, spend time with friends and travel while also balancing the work experience my internship provided me. This internship really changed my life in ways I couldn’t have predicted. I had the idea that it would be constant fun, constantly doing things and waves of excitement and learning. But it was a combination of those things, but it came with a lot more difficulties than I expected. However, I actually think that it was vital for my growth as a person and it turns out I’m grateful for them. I also got a full time job offer and I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish that had I not taken this chance. I will be forever grateful for it

Being able to work in a global city as robust and diverse as London allows you to meet so many different people from all walks of life as well as multiple experiences that are great too! Creating a good work life balance was crucial and it allowed me to enjoy being in the office as well as my time off to experience the city and all it had to offer!

It was a great experience, however I do think it is geared towards people with little to no work experience and did not meet all my expectations of learning something new in a new work environment. The best part was being able to practice my Spanish with my host family.

CIEE provided me with a great internship site, a clean and nice apartment in a good neighborhood, and gave me roommates who shared similar interests. The staff was extremely kind and helped me whenever I needed, and were good about checking in with me about my experiences

My placement perfectly aligned with my career goals and I met the best people, both at my work and in the program. Gregg planned the most fun weekend activities and took us to places I never would’ve known about or thought to go to. It was an experience I’ll never forget!

Living in London for two months was an absolutely incredible experience! From meeting people from all over the globe to experiencing the city’s history, I learned so much and explored so many amazing places. There was always something to do! For anyone who will be in London for the first time, I have two words for you: afternoon tea. Do it. Multiple times. It is divine.

I had an amazing time during the AIFS internship program in London! I felt I gained valuable experience not just through my internship, but also by living in a foreign city. There are endless things to do and see in London, and the transport system makes it easy to get almost anywhere in and around the city. As part of the AIFS program, we also had organized events such as day trips, nice dinners, and musicals just to name a few. We had access to tons of resources and I always felt cared for/supported by the London AIFS staff. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to live and work abroad!

Loved the London Beyond Community. Everyone is very friendly and sweet and had a really good time overall. The community coordinators were amazing and very supportive and fun. London is an amazing city just kind of expensive :/ other than that amazing overall

Beyond Academy was so amazing !! I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but after the first day meeting the other interns the nerves instantly went away. Everyone I met was so great and I had the absolute best time. All of the events were so much fun and it was a fantastic way to experience more of London. Definitely something I will always look back on and was an experience of a life time. I even extended my trip two extra weeks and wished I could have stayed longer. I definitely & highly recommend :)

My time abroad was a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I had a great experience in London over the summer! My internship placement was decent; I really enjoyed who I worked with but didn't end up enjoying the actual work I was doing all that much. But, it was nonetheless a good experience for me to have to learn about what positions I want to pursue in the future. All of the AIFS staff were extremely helpful throughout the placement process and were really great during the actual abroad experience. It was great to be able to meet so many awesome people through the program from different schools. Our social life was great too!
