Intern in England with World Endeavors

Thanks to this internship placement with World Endeavors, I was able to meet new people and to study abroad in a new country. I was able to meet new people and have unforgettable experiences. Thanks again World Endeavors!

I was able to immerse myself in a new culture and learn from people who live in the United Kingdom. I was able to adapt to a new learning style, one in which my school back home does not do. It was an experience that I will take with me forever.

This experience gave me great insight into the mental health field within the UK and urged me to take the next step in my education and pursue my masters in London. Thank you for everything! Especially my WE coordinator, this year has been crazy but she helped ease the anxiety and stress during COVID!

This experience has changed the way I think as exploring a much larger country than my home country has made me realise to think big and grab every opportunity with both hands as they may not be available later on. My WE coordinator was extremely resourceful and help me from the start and towards the end of my program :)

The indivuduals I was able to work along taught me so much and were able to help me adjust to the culture.My advisor was amazing. Could not have done it without his support. Loved meeting new people through him. Only downfall was the in house staff was a bit rude when i had all my belongings stolen and they were always wanting in my room for various things. Otherwise wonderful.

I really connected with my team and got very involved which were two things I was hoping for. I have great connections for future opportunities due to this. But the housing was very poor. We weren’t offered a workable toaster, had broken locks so we got locked in, etc. We were often told we were paying for location but everyone thinks that was a little bit of an excuse for upgrading our living situation.

The company I worked for was interesting however the projects that I was supposed to work on did not materialize. I spent most of my time running errands at my own expense because I sometimes had to take the bus or tube. My supervisor was on holiday for most of my internship and the woman I reported to in her place was unable to keep up the continuity of my assignments and had be working on things that were not helpful. In the future I think it would be helpful for applicants to be able to talk to past interns that have worked for the company they are interested in. This would give a clearer understanding of what their time abroad would entail.

\Going great. I love it. I've spent so much time working and doing all the social stuff that normal Londoners do every night, that I haven't taken the time to go site-seeing. I plan on spending the remaining weekends going to museums, monuments, and castles.

My favorite experience so far has been getting to travel on the weekends and experience more of the U.K. and gain more international experience. I've found adapting to life in the city and the lack of space to be a bit challenging but over time I've gotten used to it. I'd like to explore more of London and other areas of the U.K.

Good program. The advisors and helpers within the program were excellent. I was directly enriched in the language and culture with multiple experiences. My co-workers were extremely helpful.

Now that I have gotten use to the culture here I would like to go to other places here in Europe to get to know others...so just taking weekend trips to other places now that I have also become familiar with traveling to different countries.

My internship is going very well. I am learning lots of new things and the job already taught me a lot. I work on such an amazing project and get to know so interesting people at work. Also i am so happy to find really nice friends here that we understand each other and they are making my time here even more lovely.

It is going better than the first two weeks. I am starting to learn more about this communication industry. I look forward to getting to know London better, meet people from here, and really enjoy the last weeks I have. I have plans to really getting to know this city better, having a set schedule and living with international people

It is well. I am learning a lot but not through direct teaching. The people are really great though. I event had an experience of queuing up at Wyndham theatre at 9am to get cheap tickets for "Much Ado About Nothing" and then watching the performance that night.

It is going very well, definitely feel like I am learning new things. Isabelle is going to teach me some techniques that I need for landing a good job back home.

My World Endeavors advisor was able to help expedite the process because I applied after the deeadline. I was an intern in England and I learned that English people don't stand on the left side of the escalator, a biscuit here is a cracker, and that tips are added to most bills at restaurants.

Very awesome experience living with other international studetns and interns. I improved at British Sign Language, experienced a new cultural work environment and dealed with a real firm's deadlines and processes.

it's busy, I get a lot of work. but I'm learning a lot. the people are great and there are always office events that I get to join in with. I'm really liking it in London, I'm thinking on staying on if I can find a job here.

I ended up meeting some of my best friends from this experience with World Endeavors and I’ve had memories that will last a lifetime. I gained international work experience. I think it’s a great learning opportunity.

It was the best two months of my life. I made new friends in five different countries and made memories that I could never forget. Andy was an awesome advisor. He was able to make things simple for me and fixed my problems with housing after I arrived. I was able to learn a lot from the people I worked with.

World Endeavors is very trustworthy. I was a bit nervous going abroad and even going through an agency I've never heard of, but World Endeavors helped put my mind at ease and made everything very easy for me. Everything ran so smoothly, from the arrangement of the internship to the conclusion. My placement was exactly what I was looking for in an internship, which was an environment I could grow and learn. Arranging the trip was very easy for me, as World Endeavors handled everything.

London is very diverse in cultures. Everyone is extremely friendly. You offer tea or coffee to everyone who comes to visit.

I had a great internship experience in England. I'm learning a lot about the ins and outs of the fashion industry. The company trusts me with a lot of different tasks. And I want to be of benefit to this company. It is my goal to deliver my best work and leave a mark on my host company.

I have had a wonderful experience with the World Endeavors Intern in England program. My advisor was incredibly helpful every step of the way and quickly responded to all of my questions. My internship placement was wonderful as well and I have learned so much from this experience. I am so glad I took advantage of this opportunity, and I would recommend World Endeavors to anyone looking to intern abroad.
