Whether you are new to the language, or experienced, you'll benefit from these as the Canadian dialect is different to European French. Our jobs are in bars, delis and restaurants. The exact role will depend on your level of French, but French speakers can expect to work front of house with customers. We offer programs for both the winter and summer seasons. The winter season runs from late November to late April and the summer runs May through September. The participation fee for the winter is £1395 and for the summer is £1195.

Critter Care Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Internship

Intern abroad and support Critter Care Wildlife Society's mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and release animals. We specialize in treating, caring for, and releasing sick, injured, and orphaned native mammal species in British Columbia’s Southern and Lower Mainland. Your help is vital to ensure that around 3000 rescued and rehabilitated animals each year can return to their natural habitats. We offer an unpaid internship for people aged 18-35, with a passion for wildlife! This program might not come with compensation, but it includes room and board. We provide on-site accommodation at no charge, with 4 cabins—each accommodating up to 8 interns, and basic food amenities. Wildlife rehabilitation is not a 9-5 job. Rather, expect long hours, working 5 days a week with 2 non-consecutive days off. General hours are from 8:45 AM to 8 PM, with milk feeds starting as early as 6 AM. Inquire today to get in touch with our Internship Coordinator. We look forward to welcoming you to our program! Applications are open for the remainder of 2024 and 2025. The minimum stay is 4 weeks.

Best training program out there

I did the EA level 1 and 2 program in NZ last year and it was amazing. The EA crew did everything they could to make sure our time in NZ will be the best they possibly could, the accommodation was really good, they made a lot of efforts to make us feel welcome and have fun and we had a lot of activities outside of training. Training wise, the course was amazing, we had small groups with the best instructors the mountain had to offer, and the program his built to make sure you'll pass your exam, it focuses on the riding skills and also the teaching and analyzing skills you need to pass the exams. I highly recommend to everyone that wants to pass the instructor exams or just have fun and get better in snowboarding on taking the EA program
