Spend a season living and working in French-speaking Quebec. Oyster will organise your job and accommodation before you arrive in Canada. In addition, we include 10 hours of French language lessons to help you improve your spoken French. Whether you are new to the language, or experienced, you'll benefit from these as the Canadian dialect is different to European French. Our jobs are in bars, delis and restaurants. The exact role will depend on your level of French, but French speakers can expect to work front of house with customers. We offer programs for both the winter and summer seasons. The winter season runs from late November to late April and the summer runs May through September. The participation fee for the winter is £1395 and for the summer is £1195.

Intern abroad and support Critter Care Wildlife Society's mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and release animals. We specialize in treating, caring for, and releasing sick, injured, and orphaned native mammal species in British Columbia’s Southern and Lower Mainland. Your help is vital to ensure that around 3000 rescued and rehabilitated animals each year can return to their natural habitats. We offer an unpaid internship for people aged 18-35, with a passion for wildlife! This program might not come with compensation, but it includes room and board. We provide on-site accommodation at no charge, with 4 cabins—each accommodating up to 8 interns, and basic food amenities. Wildlife rehabilitation is not a 9-5 job. Rather, expect long hours, working 5 days a week with 2 non-consecutive days off. General hours are from 8:45 AM to 8 PM, with milk feeds starting as early as 6 AM. Inquire today to get in touch with our Internship Coordinator. We look forward to welcoming you to our program! Applications are open for the remainder of 2024 and 2025. The minimum stay is 4 weeks.
