Doctorate Degrees in Design

The PhD in Design, Arts, and Transdisciplinarity is aimed at researchers who want to deal with the complexity of ongoing transitions to design positive changes and imagine a more equitable, supportive, and sustainable future. The program spans three years, guiding doctoral candidates through research. The first year focuses on establishing a strong foundation in research management, methodologies, and international systems, culminating in the initiation of the research project. The second year deepens the research topic and emphasizes participation in international research activities, with students sharing early results. The third year is dedicated to completing the doctoral thesis, disseminating findings globally, and achieving autonomy in managing research activities. This program starts each December.
