Student Tours Abroad

I had an extremely fun time on this trip. I met a lot of really nice people and made lifelong friendships. The counselors took great care of us and always made sure we were safe. We went to a wide variety of super cool places and constantly did fun activites. This trip is truly one of the best experiences of my life.

As parents of a kid who has always loved camp, we thought we knew what a great summer experience looked like. Then our son went on Putney Student Travel’s Italy & Greece middle school program, and it changed our perspective entirely. He came home a different kid: more confident, independent, mature and excited about the world. He didn’t want it to end, and months later he’s still talking about the people he met. What makes Putney extraordinary is the people. The leaders were exceptional, and our son still keeps in close touch with them, along with the friends he made on the trip. I wouldn’t be surprised if they organize their own reunion over spring break! From the leaders to the directors, everyone at Putney makes you feel your child is genuinely known and cared for, as if he were one of their own. As parents, there is no greater reassurance. Putney gave our son far more than a trip. It gave him room to grow, lasting friendships, a new sense of independence and courage, and a real drive to learn about the world. We’ve even noticed a difference in his engagement at school this semester. We sent him hoping for a wonderful adventure; he came back with something far more meaningful. We can’t imagine sending our children anywhere else. Our son is already planning to return for the next four years, and we can’t wait for our daughter to experience Putney when she reaches middle school. Putney has earned our trust in a way very few organizations ever could, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to any family.

One of the best parts of the trip was the staff, who were absolutely amazing throughout the entire experience. They were friendly, supportive, and comforting, always making sure everyone felt safe, included, and taken care of. They remained calm, organized, and in control at all times, which made everything run smoothly and allowed us to fully enjoy every moment without stress. Their professionalism and positive attitudes truly made a difference and made the trip even more enjoyable. Overall, this trip exceeded my expectations and was the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, and cultural exploration. I had the time of my life with this program for TFT! I loved all the places we went to; Croatia was my absolute favorite. The counselors were very nice, friendly, fun, enthusiastic, and funny to be around. We made many memories on this trip (like Molly and the Octopus at dinner). I had the opportunity to go on this trip with my best friend from high school, and it was our first time spending the summer together; we both loved it very much. I'm very grateful for TFT letting my best friend and I share a room with the two of us together. We met some amazing people in our group, and we loved how small the group was, so it wasn't very chaotic. I wish I could go on more trips like these with this program, but I did this trip as someone who finished their senior year, and I wish I had known about this program sooner in my earlier years of high school. TFT gave me the time of my life, and I would love to do programs like these as a potential counselor and give other kids the time of their lives that I got.

It was one of the best decisions I have ever made and would recommend to anyone! So much fun and could take part in an array or activities including sky diving and hiking. I’ve learnt so much and met so many amazing people!

I had an amazing time and I Genuinly had the best time ever ! All the staff were so kind and fun and they made the trip so much fun for all of us! Every day we did such cool activities and we were never bored - all the places we stayed were so nice and South Africa is such an amazing country, if I could do it again I would !

What an amazing adventure trip! Rowena, Divan and Brett were all fantastic and made the experience so special. Full of excitement, fun and unforgettable memories, it was truly an incredible adventure!

Warriors was really great and i had an amazing week where i met amazing people, pushed myself and had the best time. My favorite activities included volounteering at a crèche, meeting elephants, skydiving and hiking. Thank you!

Best week of my life instructors were incredible every moment was so special would do it all over again if I had the option. Never a dull moment, the whole team was so special and kind. The activities made the experience insane !

The staff were all so friendly and encouraging, I loved meeting lots of new people and i loved all the activities especially the sky diving. The food was all delicious especially the traditional south african ones

Travel For Teen’s Alpine Adventure gave me opportunities that no other company could top. Whether it was zip lining through the Swiss Alps or even paragliding from above the French Alps, these experiences were truly a once in a lifetime experience. Cultural experiences were also at the forefront of the trip with nights filled with delicious cuisine from all three countries. To wrap it up, there’s nothing I would’ve have traded for such a great trip, and I recommend this to any teen wanting to get out of their comfort zone.
