Program Overview

On this 12-day voyage through the Caribbean, discover the joys of life aboard, crew the yacht, plan passages, give back to local communities, and return with lifelong mates.

Board a 50-foot monohull yacht in St. Martin and push off on an adventure to multiple islands and marine parks, a 17th-century fortress, and even a dormant volcano. Sailing on turquoise seas with gentle trade winds, learn about passage planning, knot tying, tacking, navigating, mooring, and anchoring. By the end of the journey, you have the necessary skills to take the helm and the International Yacht Training (IYT) certifications to prove it. Come and raise the sails on this summer you'll never forget.

For summer 2026, three sessions are offered (while space is available):

July 21 - August 1, 2026

Amazing Experience!

I had an amazing experience for 12 night aboard our boat seeing the Carribbean and snorkeling on all the islands. The food was great overall and I had fun cooking and preparing meals with friends and counselors. I loved sleeping outside on the boat and seeing the amazing stars and night skies. I loved being able to disconnect and just be with peers and the amazing counselors. I learned to sail and want to learn more next summer. Our hikes and our adventures on land were great! I highly recommend this trip and hope to return to Broadreach again soon!
