Study Abroad in Central America

The Temple University International Programs office is responsible for administering Temple-sponsored study abroad programs, advising Temple students on study abroad program and scholarship opportunities. We continue to develop and strengthen the international education programs that help Temple students attain a global perspective.

Study for a semester or a year in the beautiful Central American country of Costa Rica and discover friendly people, a rich culture, and diverse flora and fauna with Sol Education Abroad. Choose from a wide variety of courses, including Spanish language classes, and earn academic credit. The program also encourages students to take up volunteering during the trip.

BridgeEdu has 44 programs in 21 different locations. Programs are offered in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China and 16 other countries.

Central American SIT Study Abroad programs gives students from all over the globe the opportunity to study abroad in Panama or Nicaragua. Participants can learn about Tropical Ecology, Marine Ecosystems, and Biodiversity Conservation in Panama, or educate themselves on Nicaragua's Youth Culture, Literacy, and Media.
