Learned Spanish and made new friends

The biggest benefits of the program were learning Spanish and making new friends. I would absolutely recommend this program to future students for learning Spanish and being immersed in the Costa Rican culture.

You get a worldly perspective and see how different other people in different cultures live and work/ There were also many things in common. It’s hard to describe and the best advice I can give is to just take the opportunity to go abroad.

I thought the program was very educational and interactive. The free time we had allowed us to explore parts of Costa Rica the trip didn't cover. I loved my homestay! I'm a picky eater, but my homestay accommodated for me and I didn't feel judged for not liking something.
