This September, GHRI will host a Back-to-School Free Eye Screening Program for school children in underserved communities. The program will provide: Free eye screenings to detect vision problems early. Distribution of glasses to children who need them. Eye health education for children, parents, and teachers. Good vision is vital for learning. A child who cannot see clearly will struggle to read, write, and keep up in class. By offering these services before school starts, GHRI ensures that more children begin the academic year ready to learn and succeed. But this impact can’t happen alone. GHRI invites volunteers from all walks of life, welcomes donations of glasses or funds, and seeks partnerships with individuals and organizations who share our mission of making healthcare accessible for all.
