I had the privilege of completing the 10-hour TEFL Practicum course with Michelle Benson and it was truly incredible. Michelle is an outstanding, knowledgeable and passionate teacher. Over the 2 days, she made every session engaging, interactive and very practical. She has a wonderful way of breaking things down into simple and understandable concepts. I learned so much, both theoretically and practically, about how to plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons online. I now feel fully confident and open-minded to start my journey as an online English teacher. Thank you Michelle for such an inspiring and impactful course. I highly recommend her to anyone taking the TEFL course.

I took this course with Michelle Benson and it was absolutely worth waking up way before the sun. I’m currently redoing my TEFL certification as it’s been several years since I’ve taught and the first time around I did it with an organization that didn’t offer this “in-person” option. I’m really glad that I took this as even though I have teaching experience, getting to actually practice creating a lesson designed for learners that were different from the ones I taught, and then getting feedback as well, was extremely helpful in rebuilding my confidence. Although a lot of that is due to Michelle’s instruction as not only is she knowledgeable, but she clearly loves what she’s doing and because that comes through it made it much more comfortable to actually engage and ask questions when we needed to. Honestly if she did another “in person” class on a different subject I’d once again wake up at 3am just to take it.

I found this teaching course particularly useful after completing my level 5 level English teaching diploma. The course content and administration were of high quality. Similarly, the teaching methods taught by Michelle Benson, really helped me to join the dots by putting theory into practice. Having just had a baby, this course has given me the boost I needed to pivot to a new career more confidently.

This course was very enjoyable and beneficial. Michelle Benson is an excellent tutor who immediately puts you at ease. She is full of knowledge and experience and she shared lots of tips and advice with us in her fun and friendly sessions. A shout out to the lovely ladies in the group too, who also made this a great weekend. I feel very fortunate to have spent some time with them.

The teaching practicum with Michelle Benson was great. The material was succinct and loaded with various ways to teach English as someone who is not new to teaching, but new to teaching a language. Premier TEFL offers a solid 300-hr course and the lessons are very educational—I went from knowing hardly anything about teaching language to feeling like I could actually organize English lessons someday. And I did indeed land a job while I was still working on my TEFL certificate to teach Spanish, because some of the principles of teaching English generalize to teaching other languages. One thing that really makes this TEFL program stand out is the amount of support you get. Anytime you have questions or doubts, you can e-mail the staff and they are very responsive. The tutors, Anya and Laura, are available once a week for a live Zoom session, but you can e-mail them anytime and they will answer all your questions, and if they don't have an answer, they will direct you to another staff member who does. The support staff, like Olivia and Lisa, are also very helpful for your course needs and even check in to see how you're doing. Overall, I was very pleased with the value of this course and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning how to teach English.

Great experience completing the 10-hour Virtual TEFL course. The tutor, Michelle Benson, absolutely made the course. She has such positive energy, is incredibly encouraging, and explains everything very clearly. The lessons are well structured and especially helpful for people who have never taught before. One thing worth noting is that the "10-hour" course actually consists of 7 hours of live teaching (2 × 3.5-hour sessions). The remaining 3 hours are allocated to preparing and completing the homework. My advice would be to leave at least a day's gap between the sessions if possible. For people who work full-time, it can be quite difficult to find enough time to prepare properly for the following day's lesson.

It was a fantastic experience. Michelle Benson made teaching methodologies become real life practical experience, making the classroom a relaxed and fun filled experience for both teachers and learners. I am glad I took the chance.

I had a lovely experience with my tutor Michelle Benson! The structure of the course is clear; it's great for anyone who wants a more hands-on TEFL experience. I got to apply some of the methods I've been learning in the 180-hour TEFL course in a real classroom setting. Ms. Benson was an absolute delight: she was very joyful, encouraging, and knowledgeable. I especially liked the tense identification method she taught us. I would advise all TEFL learners to take this course so as to get an opportunity to apply the theories learned in the 120/180/300-hour course!

The 10-hour practical course was awesome! Not a single minute of the entire course was boring. Michelle was patient and meticulous, explaining in detail what it takes to plan and deliver an engaging and interactive lesson. Her feedback was great. She praised every strength and highlighted areas for improvement. Now I am glad I can confidently teach English.

I have just completed the IELTS Preparation Course. Like the first course I did, the study materials were clear, accurate, and straight to the point. Although I realize I will need to gain some teaching experience first, my long term goal is still to teach IELTS. If you are thinking about teaching English, TEFL provide an excellent service. Everyone I dealt with was really supportive and flexible, and they made the whole process easy. I also took the practical course with Michelle Benson, and the hands on methods it covers were genuinely useful and helped me a lot.

Now that I have finished the 300 Hour Level 5 Advanced Diploma, I am happy with the choice I made. The course content was solid, the assessments were graded quickly, the IQAs were turned around without delay, and customer support got back to me fast whenever I had questions. My experience with the TEFL Institute of Ireland so far has been excellent. I only just started my 300+ Hr Level 5 certification and so far everything in the lessons has been easy to follow and to the point. Signing up was just as hassle free.
