Best 4 Months of my Life.
August 21, 2026by: Sam Willie - United StatesMy time in Barcelona was unbelievable and unforgettable. I did a semester at UAB in the spring 2026 semester and had the best experience. I met so many amazing people and went so many amazing places. There was something for everyone in Barcelona, it was the perfect city. And it was a great hub to explore more of Europe. I was able to visit 12 countries and 16 cities in an 18 week program. WorldStrides staff in Barcelona were so amazing, they were so helpful and friendly. The living accommodations that they set up for us were perfect as well. I was living very comfortably and all the friends I made in the program agreed that they loved their setups. The WorldStrides excursions were amazing as well, they were so fun and I met even more friends. Truly could not recommend it enough to anyone looking to go abroad.
A golden time in la ciudad dorada
August 17, 2026by: Clara Heberling - United StatesMy time with WorldStrides in Salamanca was incredible. Prior to my departure, I received consistent communication and advice about my time abroad. Once there, I spent time with an amazing host family that truly immersed me in the language and lived right in the middle of the city. The University itself was a wonderful source of global learning with students from all across the world. Throughout my time there, the WorldStrides team in Salamanca supported me every step of the way, offering assistance and support with any questions I had. My month in Spain was the time of my life, largely due to WorldStrides!
It was wonderful
August 16, 2026by: Abigail Faulkner - United StatesReally enjoyed my time here, wish I could have stayed longer. The only caveat is that the crowd tends to be either rather young (think 16-19) or older (40+) so if you are in the middle of that (I was 22) befriending people may be a bit more awkward, especially with the constantly changing crowd. However, that was not a big problem as I was able to make many great friends outside the program (and some within as well!). Staff were all incredibly informed, helpful, and outgoing and really made the time a blast. The events they offered were plentiful and diverse as well, which was very handy and good for meeting various people. Additionally, the spanish lessons were taught fully in spanish (although staff knows english and helped answer questions in english when people truly didn’t know how to communicate in spanish) which was very good and helped rapidly increase my spanish comprehension and skills.
¡Hola, Abigail! Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! :) We're so glad you had a wonderful time and even wished you could stay longer — that's the best compliment! We really appreciate you sharing the note about the age gap in the group; it's great feedback for us, and we're glad you still found your people, both in and outside the program. It's also fantastic to hear our staff made things fun while being so helpful, and that the fully immersive Spanish lessons helped your skills grow so quickly — that immersion really pays off! Thanks for choosing Expanish and we hope to see you again soon! ¡Un fuerte abrazo!
Changed my life forever!
August 13, 2026by: Colleen O'Meara - United StatesI studied abroad with Worldstrides in Barcelona during the spring semester of 2026, and it was genuinely life-changing! I was able to connect with professors at my university and my peers and create lifelong friendships. It was easy to make meaningful connections because the academic curriculum revolves around group work. I was able to work with students from all around the world and grow my international interpersonal skills. I can not recommend going with WorldStrides enough! They eased any potential worries I had before and during my time abroad. The team is there to help you and make your experience incredible!
Life Changing Experience!
August 07, 2026by: Jade Willing - United StatesI had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in Malaga for the month of June, and I would recommend it to anyone considering it. There are a multitude of reasons why studying abroad is beneficial, but it is important to figure out why it's best for you. For me, being abroad gave me the time to learn new skills of independence and learn more about myself. It taught me how to be self-sufficient and to really grow into who I am. Additionally, Malaga was the most amazing city. It was relatively close to many other popular travel destinations (Sevilla, Granada, Nerja) and very accessible to other destinations via public transportation (for example, I went to Madrid on the train). There were endless options of amazing things to do, whether that be shop, go to the beach (there are SEVERAL nearby), hike, go to museums, etc. I also really enjoyed improving and practicing my Spanish. I came in with an already high base level of knowledge, but I got to improve my skills significantly. The best part of the trip was the amazing excursions we got to go on. Our resident director was amazing and all of the excursions were planned out perfectly with adequate time for us to do some exploring on our own as well. 10/10 would recommend!

I had a great time!
August 05, 2026by: Avery Meyer - United StatesProgram: ALBA Study Abroad Barcelona. A Unique, Small-Group Program
I had such a great time, the program leaders were super helpful with living situations adjusting to the different aspects here and all my professors were awesome. They all cared a lot about the courses and wanted me to succeed and do better! They excursions that they provide are also super fun and you should go on as many as possible.

Memories that will last a lifetime!
August 01, 2026by: Tanner Lebo - United StatesProgram: USAC Spain: San Sebastián - Spanish Language & Psychology
San Sebastián is a great place to study abroad if you live diverse cultures and languages, great food, great wine and cider, and many more factors. Right in the heart of the Basque Country, it has much to offer. You can go out for a nice night with your friends and have Pintxos and drinks, or visit the nearby towns that hold much cultural significance. No matter what you decide to do, you won’t be disappointed!
Summer abroad.
August 01, 2026by: Madelinn Cassell - United StatesProgram: USAC Spain: Alicante - European & Mediterranean Studies
It was the best time of my life. I was able to learn so much not only from the amazing teachers but also from the welcoming community of Alicante. The field trips were also very fun, and ended with the most beautiful views of the ocean and the city. I am forever grateful for this opportunity and genuinely encourage everyone to study abroad at one point in their college career.

Lifechanging experience!
July 31, 2026by: Sakinah Ahmed - United StatesBefore embarking on my trip, I was super nervous because it was my first time traveling outside the country on my own. As soon as I landed, I immediately felt at home and ready to explore Seville. I was amazed at how beautiful the plaza de España was and overjoyed that it was a part of my daily commute. From the moment I met all my peers, I knew we would become great friends! I also had an amazing time getting to know the Seville staff as they welcomed us all. The excursions were perfectly planned, but they gave us time to explore cities on our own. I also felt that the academics were easy to manage, but challenging nonetheless. Overall, I was so sad to leave the city behind and the beautiful architecture. I enjoyed sketching the beautiful sights in my free time and trying new cafes!

She came back with more confidence.
July 28, 2026by: Kristen Amante - United StatesI wanted my daughter to have lots of support when she studied abroad for high school. Seville Abroad didn’t disappoint. She had a wonderful host family. The center was a great respite from the intense immersion school provided. They had Spanish classes three times a week to pull together the language she learned at school. They did several day trips/trips and outings which helped facilitate and deepen friendships with other Seville Abroad students. She came back with so much confidence and love for Spain.
It was chill
July 24, 2026by: Michael Shehan - United StatesYou know honestly I had a good time. It was a great time. I feel like SSA did a good job with my internship. I had fun and all of the excursions that I went on were a good time. I don’t really know what to say, but I would say overall I had a great time on this trip.

I had a time of my life!
July 24, 2026by: Sophia Mitchell - United StatesI had a great time in Seville. I loved my class and loved learning about the history in Seville and Andalusia. I also enjoyed all my excursions, both in with the center and with the friends I made there.
It was good
July 24, 2026by: Sid Srihari - United StatesI stayed in Sevilla for three weeks as part of the summer high school program, taking an art history class in the center. The class was great, although kind of long it was very interesting and the classes were run very well, with field trips every week to things that we were learning about in class. The environment in the center was also very nice, with everyone wanting to help and all the counselors and professors were great. Activities with the intercambios were also great, the activities every week were cool and fun and well organized like kayaking, mini golf, and amusement park. Only thing that wasn't te best was that there were only two other students in my program and was a little hard to meet friends, but it did happen eventually.
I was so much fun!
July 24, 2026by: Anneliese Mariscal - United StatesI had a really great time being in Sevilla. I was able to meet a lot of great people and make a bunch of new memories. I loved going on the different excursions and beings able to practice my Spanish in and out of the classroom.
Best Time in Sevilla!!
July 24, 2026by: Olivia Glisson - United StatesI had the best experience studying abroad in Sevilla! I learned lots about Spanish culture and language. My class was amazing and I loved my host family! SSA did an amazing job and made me feel very prepared for study abroad!!
The best experience in Madrid, Spain!
July 21, 2026by: Kate Heller - United StatesI am so happy that I chose WorldStrides for my study abroad experience in Madrid, Spain. Going into the semester, I was worried about adjusting to a new country, a new school, and new people. The second I met the WorldStrides team at the airport, I immediately felt welcomed and safe with them. Throughout the entire semester, they went out of their way to support us and were there every step of the way. I lived in an apartment with five other girls, and they ended up becoming my best friends. Despite being in a completely new environment, I adjusted quickly because of the amazing support system I had. Madrid was the loveliest city, and I fell in love with it. I'm so glad I took this big leap because it ended up being the best and most formative experience of my life!

Best Decision I've Ever Made!
July 20, 2026by: Sarah Carlson - United StatesProgram: USAC Spain: Alicante - European & Mediterranean Studies
The five weeks that I spent in Alicante were some of the best weeks of my life. The friends I made, the experiences I had, and the things I saw are truly unimaginable. You cannot explain how life changing something like this is until you are there. I was really on the fence about going abroad and I am so incredibly grateful that I made the choice to go. This program is ran wonderfully. I loved my classes, I always felt so supported by our advisors, and we had the most wonderful landlord. If you are even considering going abroad, do it!! I will always have a special place in my heart for Alicante and my time abroad.
A Glimpse of Heaven
July 18, 2026by: Ayva Warguez - United StatesProgram: API: Experience Granada, Spain (Scholarships Available)
Living in Granada and taking classes through API's study abroad program was hands down the best six months of my life. I attended classes with students from around the world, and the courses varied in both subject matter and level of rigor. This allowed me to experience different styles of Spanish education and challenge myself academically. Studying abroad completely changed the way I view life, people, and different cultures. My experience in Granada helped me develop a new level of confidence through solo travel, learning a new language, navigating an unfamiliar city, finding new friends from new backgrounds, and growing through countless trial-and-error moments. The skills and perspective I gained are invaluable, and I know they will continue to shape the person I become. API provided what felt like an unlimited amount of support and resources, including guidance on health, travel, academics, local recommendations, news, and cultural festivals. Even in a completely new environment, I never felt lost or unsupported.

Best time ever.
July 16, 2026by: nathan barton - United StatesProgram: USAC Spain: San Sebastián - Spanish Language & Psychology
This was the best summer and possibly expierience I have had in my life. I studied in San sebastian for 2 sessions over the summer and loved it. Met the best people who I can consider my friends for life now while learning so much. I got fully immursed in the culture here while attending so many cool events I never thought I would be able to like participating in the running of the bulls and being in spain to see the spain soccer team make it to the finals in the world cup. I learned how to surf and more importantly speak more fluent in another language. I highly recommend this program!!!
