My Experience in Seville with Mundo Lengua
November 13, 2025by: Omosomi Imomoh - SwitzerlandProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
Honestly, it was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed my time there. The city was wonderful and so were the activities we did. Of course, like any trip there were ups and downs, like language barriers, but most of the time we were able to solve and adjust to the situations. If we weren’t able to we always had someone to reach out to. All in all it was a very worthwhile trip.

Excellent high school Spanish immersion summer program in Sevilla & Cadiz
July 08, 2025by: Kiley Everett - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
Centro MundoLengua put together an excellent high school immersion program for our daughter. She stayed in both Sevilla and Cadiz for a total of 3 weeks with 2 different host families. Her Spanish greatly improved being immersed in the language along with classroom time. She participated in so many great activities highlighting the Spanish culture, history, and food. She participated in all the excursions to other cities as well. I highly recommend this program!
My great first experience in Spain
June 12, 2025by: Adan Navarro - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
This was my first time going to Spain and I fell in love with the country the minute I took my first step. The programs were very fun and helped me use my Spanish skills so I can learn more. The host family was very kind to me and my roommate. They made sure we were having a good time and made us wonderful meals. The education was a bit of a challenge but it’s important that I have a class that can make you good in Spanish.

During the time I have been in Spain I have had plenty of fun. We have been forced to emerge in a new culture and explore a new environment. I like the fact that we get to explore on our own as well as do group activities.

My experience in Spain
September 16, 2024by: Gerardo Rodriguez - United StatesProgram: Study Abroad | Intensive Spanish | University of Cadiz Spain
I had such an awesome and unforgettable experience with this program. The program provided such a great experience and opportunity to experience Spain at its fullest. I also want to give a special thanks to Marta for being such great help on recommending places to eat and have fun across many cities in Spain. Also enjoyed Martas company not only to me but my class mates that needed help wether it had something to do with class, housing, recommendations, and emergencies. As a native Spanish speaker, still felt like I learned a lot from the Spanish language that I will carry on at home. The culture was amazing, loved all the social interactions I had in Spain and learned a lot of slang and customs that are practiced here. And lastly the food was amazing, love trying food across the globe and Spain for sure checked the box.

July 13, 2024by: Emily Zentz - United StatesProgram: Cadiz, Spain: Spanish Summer Immersion for HS Students
This program was terrific and immersive—- not just with language but with the culture itself. Living in the center of the city made me feel like a local. I loved the mix of spontaneous activities like surfing and salsa classes as well as free time like shopping and chilling by the beach. It was the best summer of my life and i could not reccomend it more.

Best Summer Ever
November 02, 2023by: Christina Gennaro - United StatesProgram: Cadiz, Spain: Spanish Summer Immersion for HS Students
Abbey Road provided my son with the best summer of his life. I was extremely hesitant to send him to Cadiz, as he was just 15 and had only been studying Spanish for a year. He had not traveled much internationally and certainly not alone. When I met the Abbey Road representative at the airport, I felt calmer. Then when I saw the many photos of my smiling son in Spain, I knew I made the right decision. My son raved about the conversational and cultural activities. He loved one particular class and his request to attend another class was accommodated. The weekly activity schedule was dictated by the feedback of the students. I felt like my son was safe, including during periods of free time, as his location was being tracked by the local teachers who were nearby. His host family and the staff at Abbey Road, especially Victor, bent over backward to keep him safe and happy. Upon my son's return, he placed out of 2 levels of Spanish right into IB Spanish and now he is talking about majoring in languages in college. Thank you, Abbey Road, for opening my son's eyes! Parents, take the plunge and give your child the opportunity of a lifetime!

I had an unforgettable experience
July 22, 2023by: Ameira Dhanoa - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
This study abroad/immersion is Spain truly gave me the opportunity to up my level of Spanish. This was something I had been looking for all along! The opportunity to converse with locals, live with a family to learn about Spanish culture and traditions in person! Meet people with the same passion for Spanish as you, force you to only use Spanish! And also the content taught in “school” truly fit with what I wanted and challenged me throughout and even was useful and interesting (culture, food, dialect/accent) etc. I like the fax they use placement tests to accurately put you with people with the same ability as you.

Experiencia en Sevilla
June 30, 2023by: Alexandra y Candy Mulvihill y Williams - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students

Dos semanas in Sevilla!!!!
June 30, 2023by: Joss Hooten - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
We had the best time in Sevilla. Visiting Las Sepas, the Cathedral, Alcazar, and activities like ceramics and bike riding were so fun and culturally immersive. I definitely enjoyed more authentic activities such as the paella and ceramics, rather than game nights and movie night. School was pretty good overall, and we stayed consistently busy. I really enjoyed the out of classroom experiences we had during our school days such as going to the market or having conversations with Spanish students. Overall, we had an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
