The San Sebastian program opens an academic window on the Spanish and Basque people, introducing you to the rich diversity of Spain and offering a truly multicultural experience. San Sebastian has the highest level of bilingualism of any of the area's cities: all of its inhabitants speak Spanish, and one-third speak Basque. This program is ideal for students interested in Spanish or Basque Studies. Our intensive language approach allows you to complete up to two years of university language coursework in only one semester. The language courses can be complemented by our electives in related areas such as history, literature, culture, and art. Spend a semester or academic year in the classic city of Florence with AIFS Abroad. Choose from a wide variety of courses at the AIFS Abroad Global Education Center with credit awarded by Fairfield University. Select the Traditional Academic Program to begin or advance your Italian language skills and select courses from a variety of subjects. During the Spring semester, a Fashion Management and Marketing Program is also available. AIFS Abroad in Florence includes a one-week orientation before the semester begins to help you acclimate to life in Italy. Fall semester orientation is on the coast of Tuscany, while spring semester orientation is in Rome. Live in a shared student apartment and receive a meal plan. Apply to our Paris program and get the chance to attend French culture and language, business, and/or elective courses based on your academic goals! Your choices of institutions are the American Business School Paris (ABSP), the Cours de Civilization Française de la Sorbonne (CCFS), and the Institut Catholique de Paris. All courses, except French language and some culture courses, are taught in English by guest lecturers and international professors. Our Paris office is located in the Latin Quarter, across the Seine River from the Notre Dame Cathedral. Enjoy full access to our facilities, amenities, and resources; ensuring you have everything you need while in Paris. The “City of Light” is rich in academia, culture, tradition, luxury, and history.
