Your CIEE Semester Intern and Study Abroad program in Athens lasts 12 weeks and features three key components: A part-time internship with an international organization (approximately 20 hours per week), an internship seminar, and two elective courses taught by CIEE faculty or online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU. PAIDEIA summer program offers courses in Classical and Modern Greek as well as Culture, History, Archaeology, Art History, and more. Students also go on tours to well-known archaeological sites, museums, and monuments in Greece—all based on individual interests and courses taken. Past destinations have included Meteora, Nemea, Mycenae, Delphi, and Athens. It is preferable that students have a grade point average of 2.5 GPA.
