I enjoyed the coursework. I felt it was well worth my time. I did see a lot of editing mistakes in the material, which I think needs to be addressed as this is a course for teaching English. There also wasn’t any real guidance on job seeking. I feel like I have been thrown to the wolves, so to speak.

This program made 2026 the best summer of my life. London is my favorite city and this program couldn’t have been more perfect. A perfect mixture of education (classes were so much fun, and I also loved our workshops too where we learned about British culture) and free time to explore the city. We also did so much fun things as a group in the city, but you get a lot of free time with your friends. I learned so much in the creative writing classes and all the lessons were fun rather than boring. I really felt like I got to see London inside and out and get a real Londoner experience rather than as a tourist. I also loved our trips to Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon as well. I made so many friends and many great memories. The staff are also very caring and awesome. Overall, everything about it was perfect and I miss it everyday. Thank you CIEE for this trip of a lifetime!

In rome me and my roomates had so much fun! We all hung out in eachothers room and talked about ourselves. It was exteremly helpful while meeting new people. I really enjoyed shopping in rome as well and getting to explore all over. There was a lot of indepence and I really enjoyed that part of the trip.

I had just graduated college two years early, and as proud as I was, I was also scared. So much was changing, and I worried about whether I knew enough to go out into the real world. Looking back, the opportunity to intern abroad came at exactly the right time. My time abroad taught me so much. It challenged me to live on my own, work in a new place, and step out of my comfort zone. I was the first in my family to have an opportunity like this, which made it especially meaningful, even when I didn’t know what to expect. The support of the Absolute Program Coordinators gave me peace of mind. I could connect with them about anything, from questions throughout my internship to advice on local coffee spots. Having someone to turn to made a new city feel a little more familiar. I was also grateful to have a very supportive boss on La Guilde’s communications team. He gave me the opportunity to help with big projects and marketing deliverables I didn’t think I would get to work on as an intern. Being trusted with that work helped me build confidence at a time when I was still questioning how ready I was. Beyond my internship, I always looked forward to the day and weekend trips our Program Coordinators put together. They were a chance to get outside the city, explore more of France, and take a break without breaking my budget. I’m grateful for this experience and for the people who helped me feel at ease along the way. I went abroad worried about whether I knew enough for what came next. I came home with more confidence in my ability to figure things out.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Máximo Nivel in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica! Australia gave me a lot of completely different experiences. I got to work in rural Australia, travel along the east coast with my best friend, learn how to surf at a surf camp, see Uluru, and meet people from around the world. One of the things I liked most was that there was always something else to experience. Australia is huge, and the farm was only one chapter of the trip. Once I started travelling, every place felt different. Some of my best memories came from simply saying yes when an opportunity came up.

I've been a traveling Emergency Nurse for 6 years and it has been a goal of mine to volunteer in Africa for a while now. I looked at several companies that offer volunteering services but MediTrip by far exceeded all the other options. MediTrip was more than patient and helpful answering all my questions from day one. They were super helpful with the application process. They placed me in excellent housing where I got my own bedroom and bathroom with a staff member in the house for assistance at all times. They helped me with the orientation process at the hospital as well. I got to come volunteer during the daytime and saw other ways of doing medical procedures than they are done in the United States. It truly help broaden my mind with emergency medicine when materials aren't available. I would 100% recommend MediTrip not just in Tanzania but anywhere they operate their services.

I chose AIFS Abroad for my semester in London because I wanted to experience living in a new country while continuing my education, and I’m so glad I did. The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive, which made adjusting to life in a new city much easier. The housing accommodations were also a great part of the experience and gave me a place to feel comfortable while living abroad. Having an Oyster card to use on the Tube made it so easy to get around London and explore different neighborhoods, landmarks, and attractions. The Eurail pass was another great benefit because it gave me the opportunity to travel and experience even more while studying abroad. One of my favorite parts of the program was getting to explore London, visit museums and landmarks, and experience everyday life in a different country. I also made amazing friendships and became more independent and confident navigating new places. As a marketing and management student, studying abroad gave me a new perspective on different cultures and helped me grow both personally and professionally. Between the supportive staff, housing, transportation benefits, and opportunities to explore, AIFS made my experience really memorable. I would definitely recommend AIFS Abroad to anyone looking to study abroad, make new friends, and get the most out of their time in another country!

My semester abroad in Madrid with AIFS was genuinely one of the most memorable experiences of my life, and I would recommend the program to anyone considering studying abroad! From the beginning, the experience was well organized, and I felt supported throughout my time in Spain. Looking back, I am so grateful I chose AIFS because my semester became so much more than just an opportunity to study in another country. AIFS also offered a great variety of activities that allowed us to experience Spanish culture firsthand. These included tapas dinners, cooking sessions, and trips to beautiful cities like Granada, Toledo, and Segovia. These experiences gave us the opportunity to explore beyond Madrid while creating lasting memories with other students. I would recommend AIFS in a heartbeat! My semester in Madrid gave me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and personal growth that I will carry with me long after returning home. I would do it all over again without hesitation!
