GGoing in to the second year I've come to learn that you are no longer important and not a priority for them despite it saying lifetime commitment when joining. I would have thought they would treat us all the same regardless if you have been here a while or are new, that it not the case. I feel very uncertain about my future with them now after learning all this and I am looking for my own job as I feel that will be a quicker way which is very Disturbing. The careless attitude of the person that took over is disappointing.

Xplore made the whole process so much easier. I completed my TEFL with them in Hua Hin, which was an amazing first experience—I met so many great people, and the training helped build my confidence. While I was on the course, I had my first interview for a school in Cambodia, which really helped me feel prepared for the move. When I arrived in Cambodia, Xplore organised a full orientation week that included basic language lessons, visits to some of the country’s most famous landmarks, and support with arranging accommodation and meeting the landlord. I did face a few issues with my first school placement, but Xplore were quick to help and supported me in finding new opportunities through their guaranteed placement scheme. I’ve now been at my current school for two academic years, and I couldn’t be more grateful—I genuinely love the school and the people here. Xplore made a big life change feel manageable, and I’m really thankful for their support.
