A very good option for anyone on the hunt for TEFL on the cheaper side
October 15, 2026Andrea C - United KingdomProvider: IntrepidTEFL
I went in a newb but I figure I could hold my own now. The training is pretty thorough with ALOT of practice tasks (some you need to do, some you can choose to skip) and pages upon pages of pretty engaging text/typed content. The videos they throw in are mixed bag aside from some grammar and concept ones and vids of classroom teachers taking classes. I watched those a couple of times to try and picture myself doing it. I can. I will sometime soon! It’s cheap but I found it very very useful
My Mamma Mia Summer
October 15, 2026Evan Cronin - United StatesProvider: Travel For Teens
The summer of 2026 was my first time adventuring abroad through Travel For Teens. I really enjoyed my counselor’s enthusiasm upon arrival. Meeting new people my age from different parts of the world is always so awkward or silent at first, but getting to know them as the days go by makes me realize how fun it is to get to know others. My Greece and Italy trip was so fun. I played Mamma Mia music because I was in Greece and everybody joined in which is so cool. I got to see so much history, and the views were incredible. I really enjoyed my time and that’s why I’ll be going to another country using Travel For Teens!

Six weeks that changed my life — and a journey that continues
October 15, 2026Chantal Huijbregts - NetherlandsProvider: Medi Trip
Six weeks that changed my life — and a journey that continues When I first contacted Medi Trip about volunteering in Tanzania, I had no idea that I was about to embark on a journey that would change my life forever. From my very first conversation with Pearl, the founder and director, I felt something special. There was genuine warmth, openness, professionalism, and, above all, a sincere passion for making a difference. I felt confident that I had made the right choice. The preparation was excellent. All the information I received beforehand was accurate, clear, and complete. Arriving in a country and culture so different from your own can be overwhelming, but Medi Trip made the entire experience feel welcoming and well organised. The accommodation was comfortable, the Tanzanian staff were wonderful, and there was always someone available for guidance, questions, or support. But what makes Medi Trip truly special to me goes far beyond the practical arrangements. I originally came to Tanzania for six weeks of volunteering. Today, I am on my seventh trip, and what started as a volunteer experience has grown into something I could never have imagined. Those first six weeks opened my eyes, touched my heart, and ultimately changed the direction of my life. Through the experiences, people, and communities I encountered, I discovered a passion and purpose that I hadn't known existed within me. Over time, I have grown from being a volunteer into someone actively involved in philanthropic work, supporting vulnerable women, girls, and children in Tanzania. And throughout that entire journey, Medi Trip has remained by my side. That is something I value enormously. My official volunteering placement may have ended a long time ago, but the relationship never did. Pearl and her team continue to follow my work, offer guidance, provide assistance when needed, and genuinely care about what I am trying to achieve. Even now, during my extended stays in Tanzania, I am still welcomed into the Medi Trip hostel, where I feel very much at home. I have never felt that I was simply another volunteer passing through their programme. I have always felt seen, supported, encouraged, and valued as a person. What I particularly admire about Pearl is her vision of what meaningful volunteering and philanthropy should be. It is not simply about arriving somewhere with good intentions and wanting to help. It is about listening, learning, respecting local knowledge, building relationships, and understanding that sustainable change comes from working alongside communities rather than deciding what they need. That philosophy has deeply influenced the way I approach my own work today. Of course, volunteering in a different country comes with challenges. You encounter unfamiliar situations, cultural differences, and realities that can be difficult to understand. But those experiences are also part of what makes volunteering so valuable. Having an organisation behind you that understands these complexities and is willing to guide and support you makes an enormous difference. I can only speak from my own experience, but after seven trips and years of continued involvement, I feel I have come to know Medi Trip not just as a volunteer, but also through the relationships and work that have developed since. And I can say wholeheartedly that my trust in Pearl and her team has only grown stronger. I arrived in Tanzania hoping to contribute something meaningful during six weeks of volunteering. I never expected to find a new direction in life, a community that feels like family, and a purpose that continues to inspire me every single day. Six weeks changed my life. And under the wing of Medi Trip, I found my calling. For that, I will always be grateful. Thank you, Pearl, Emmanuel, and the entire Medi Trip family, for opening a door that I never knew would lead to so much. I cannot recommend Medi Trip highly enough to anyone who is willing to approach volunteering with an open mind, an open heart, and a genuine desire to learn as much as they hope to give.
One of my favorite trips of all time!!

My trip with TFT was truly one of my best travel experiences I’ve ever had! I was so anxious before I went, but after meeting the staff at the airport and all the other kids, I knew I had nothing to worry about. I made friends very quickly and built great relationships with my counselors. We obviously had a bunch of planned activities, but we also got to have a lot of free time to shop, get food, and just explore the city with our friends. We saw all the sights in both cities while learning about the culture and trying traditional food. This trip is perfect for teens who aren’t super adventurous but still want to travel the world!!

My Costa Rica service trip was an amazing and meaningful experience that I will never forget. It gave me the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone, work as part of a team, and make a positive impact on the community. I learned the importance of teamwork, communication, and helping others, while also getting to experience a new culture and meet amazing people. This trip helped me grow as a person and gave me a greater appreciation for the opportunities I have. I would highly recommend this experience to any other travelers considering it!

Physiotherapy Meets Travel Fun

Program: Physical Therapy Shadowing in Greece
Hi, my name is Brylee, I am from Utah in the USA and I study at Utah Tech University and I found this program online. I chose to do it because I wanted some clinical experience with physiotherapy and also I wanted to travel. I really enjoyed my experience here and getting to work with the physiotherapists. They have been so nice and welcoming and I have loved working with the patients. Even though I don’t speak any Greek, I’ve learned a few terms and it’s been really fun to interact with people here. It’s also been very fun to travel. If you get the chance, I would really recommend sightseeing if you can after the internship, when going out and having some fun. The coordination with the program has been fantastic- great communication. You can always message them anytime and it’s really a great program. I would recommend it a lot.

Program: TFT Older Teens: Florence, Cinque Terre, Switzerland & Paris
I have done other teen tours but nothing compared to Travel for Teens. Starting with both of my chaperones (Noah and Claudia), they were genuinely amazing, the sweetest, coolest, and “older sibling” energy. Then, the places we went: My favorite was Switzerland so beautiful and between canyoning and paragliding COULD NOT have asked for anything better. Italy was beautiful and Paris was so much fun. All of the other students on my trip were great, after a couple hours together we all clicked. I came into the trip on my own and left with 15 new friends. I know my parents really appreciated the daily updates from my trip leaders and the pictures they would send. I felt super safe and comfortable the entire time. I would 110% recommend going on a trip with TFT!
An unforgettable, life changing experience

Program: Frontline Medical Volunteering | Emergency & Trauma
From my very first interaction with Medi Trip and speaking with Pearl about what I wanted to gain out of my trip, until my very last day in Tanzania, I felt fully supported, completely safe, and genuinely cared for. It is clear that everyone involved in Medi Trip truly wants to change the world. Day by day, they create experiences that shift your perspective on life, teach you how different people see the world, and help you learn how to be a better person in the process. Not a day goes by now where I don’t mention my trip to Arusha and the time I spent with exceptional humans who all shared the exact same goal of making a positive change. During my 3-week nursing internship, I learned multiple lifelong skills that have fundamentally shaped my practice. Immersed in a resource-limited environment, I vastly improved my clinical adaptability, cross-cultural communication, and rapid triage assessment skills, while learning to navigate complex pathologies less common back home. The staff at the hospital were extremely friendly and wanted to learn as much from us as we did from them. Every single member of staff I came across was incredibly grateful for our presence, eager to learn about our culture, and fascinated by how the healthcare world differed across borders. A definitive highlight of my trip happened on a day when I was asked to support the junior doctors with learning catheter insertion, as I was already qualified to do this back home. In return—through what I believe was full trust built by constantly asking the doctors questions and showing genuine dedication—the doctors got to know me and wanted to say thank you. They asked if I wanted to stay in on an emergency C-section. That day, I got to experience the birth of a healthy little boy. I supported the mother, handed medical equipment to the lead doctor, and took part in a clinical milestone I will absolutely never forget. Coming back from the hospital each day was pure comfort. The accommodation felt so homely, the food was absolutely tasty every single day, and the welcome home each afternoon was incredibly warm and loving. From the moment I got home, all I wanted to do was return. I am still utterly grateful for the lessons I learned. I came home a better clinician and a better person, and for that, I will be forever grateful to Medi Trip.
Best Trip Ever!
October 15, 2026Ananya Saraf - United StatesProvider: Travel For Teens
This trip was honestly so fun. I went with my friend, but I went alone the year before to Greece and Italy and had no problem making friends. I’d say it’s important to remember to be open to meeting new people of you’re thinking of going with a friend. I had the best time ever! Our counselor was the sweetest, and the itinerary is great. Easy to feel supported in the environment, and we even went to a spooky exhibition that wasn’t on the itinerary! Totally recommend
My Costa Rica Service Experience
October 15, 2026Annalise Beville - United StatesProvider: Travel For Teens
My experience with Travel for Teens was truly amazing. I went on my first TFT trip this past summer to Costa Rica, and I had the best time. It let me step outside my comfort zone, try new things, and meet new people. We also had the chance to do service work, which let us give back to local families and make a positive impact. I experienced a new culture and made lifelong memories. I would highly recommend TFT to anyone looking for an experience that combines travel, service, meeting new people, and having lots of adventures.
Drones, Tech, and Greek Beaches
October 15, 2026Sean Harrington - United StatesProvider: Cerca Abroad
Hi, my name is Sean, I am originally from California in the USA and currently I am a rising sophomore at CU Boulder in Colorado. I am eighteen years old and I am an intern here at the Atlantic University. I chose to intern in the field of drone automation because I am very interested in how precision hardware like drones or quadcopters intersects with a field like animation or AI. I chose Thessaloniki because I heard it has a vibrant student population, beautiful beaches and weather. During my time at the Hellenic University in my internship, I repaired a drone, which involves taking the drone apart and using precision hardware and soldering to repair this drone which has a broken motor. After that was done, we started testing with the sensors. The sensors I coded using Arduino on the bottom of this drone take readings through a DHT sensor, which senses humidity and temperature, and also a raindrop sensor, which detects leakage or, you know, raindrops. Now, this is important in the application of greenhouses or agriculture. The data is stored on the EEPROM terminal of the Arduino, which is an electronically erasable programmable read-only memory. It can be read back using a separate program on Arduino again. During my time in Thessaloniki, I visited many fun tourist spots like the beaches of Khalkidhiki and Mount Olympus, and these are very fun places to visit. The food here is great. The coffee is tasty. The people are very helpful, hospitable and kind. The students are plentiful. The city is very walkable and there is a vibrant nightlife as well. I have learned a lot about technology, culture, and history and I would love to come back in the future if possible. Cerca Abroad has been super communicative and organized. I loved it. The guides are super nice and also communicative. I really enjoyed this whole program. I would totally recommend it for friends and family. Thank you, Cerca Abroad.
