AIFS Abroad in Athens, Greece: Summer

I had the best time in Greece. I went in with certain expectations and they were blown out of the water by all of the people I met and things I experienced. ACG has a world-class staff and I got to network with impressive writers and historians in my coursework. Additionally, I got to interact with skilled college students like myself from all over the country, and in some cases, all over the world. The staff at the ACG residences was beyond hospitable and I became quick close friends with many of them. I already had a ticket booked to return to visit with them in six months after my program ended. Alice and the AIFS staff were incredible helpful every step along the way, helping me navigate the massive amounts of paperwork, handle my finances, give sage advice, and help me accomplish my own personal goals in studying abroad. If I had the chance to do this program over again, I would do it in a heartbeat. I wouldn't change a thing.

I studied abroad in Athens, Greece at the American College of Greece in the summer of 2022. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I felt all of the pre-planned excursions were the perfect addition to the experience, as they were both fun and culturally enriching. I was also incredibly impressed with the housing situation. The apartments were spacious, clean and the resident assistants were fun and interactive. Finally, I appreciated how responsive all of the staff members were with any questions or concerns. I love to travel and I enjoyed everything about my experience in Athens! I highly recommend to anyone even considering studying abroad.

I have always wanted to study abroad and it was better than I could have imagined. Not only did I get to take classes abroad, I met so many people and got to experience a different culture and really immerse myself with the activities that were provided in the program. Would recommend to everyone!
