Earn up to 6 credits when you take part in the Medical Spanish Immersion Program at the University of Belgrano, with 60 hours of clinical rotation at FLENI (Foundation for the Fight against Childhood Neurological Diseases). Courses are taught in English and Spanish; an intermediate level of Spanish is required. The clinical rotation at Hospital Británico offers a global, résumé-enhancing experience toward your career in medicine. You will be assigned to specific medical areas, including Pediatrics, Intensive Care Unit, Internal Medicine, Emergency Room, and Orthopedics and Traumatology. Live in an Argentine homestay in the best areas of Buenos Aires, such as Belgrano, Recoleta, and Palermo, with daily breakfast and dinner provided Monday - Friday. You’ll enjoy cultural and social activities such as: Gallery & museum visits Guided tours of La Boca & Recoleta Cemetery Visit to Barrio San Telmo Milonga evening to try the tango Traditional Argentine asado (barbeque) Day trips to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay & to Fiesta Gaucha A 3-day, optional excursion to Iguazú Falls is also available.
