I had a wonderful time during my internship and greatly enjoyed the experience. I made significant improvements in my Spanish speaking abilities, and I am very grateful for the opportunity. I truly enjoyed my internship and am very thankful for the opportunity.

My experience in Thailand has been so fun! I got to see a lot of the major temples and sites that are a must visit. I made many friends with the other interns here. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They helped me with any questions I had or anything in general. Overall my experience was amazing, 10/10 would recommend to anyone on the fence about it! I would even come back if I could!

My experience with the Absolute Internship abroad program was incredibly valuable and memorable. Spending 6 weeks in Madrid, Spain, allowed me to gain professional experience while also experiencing a new culture, work environment, and a new sense of independence. One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity to work at Asesoria Debe Haber Asociaciones, where I was able to develop skills in establishing new nonprofit national or local organizations by working on founding their board or statutes. The internship gave me a better understanding of my career interests and allowed me to apply what I have learned in school to a real-world environment while also educating myself on how this country's system differs from that of mine and learning how this can help me build upon my current professional knowledge. Outside of work, living in Madrid allowed me to explore new places, meet people from different backgrounds, and experience the local culture. The program staff was extremely supportive and helpful, making the transition to living abroad much easier. Although there were some challenges, such as adjusting to a new environment and working for the first time at a location that aligns with my professional goals, along with a slight language barrier, these experiences helped me grow personally and professionally. Overall, I would highly recommend this program to other students considering an internship abroad. It provided me with meaningful professional experience, unforgettable memories, and a greater sense of confidence and independence.

Throughout my 2 months living and working in Madrid, I absolutely fell in love with the city. The culture, food, social scene, and environment was unmatched. Thanks to Absolute, I met some of my best friends while abroad. I am so lucky to have found such an amazing group of people to share this experience with including our program coordinators who were the BEST. On top of my actual internship which gave me so many great connections, I truly built a life in Madrid during my time there. This summer has been the best of my life, I gained so many friendships, learned so much about myself, and experienced places and memories that will last a lifetime.

Spending time in Madrid as part of a marketing placement was one of the best experiences I've had. It gave me the opportunity to develop practical marketing skills in an international environment while learning from talented people with different perspectives. Every day brought new challenges that helped me grow both professionally and personally. Outside of work, Madrid was an amazing city to explore. From the food and culture to the lively atmosphere, there was always something new to experience. One of the biggest highlights was the friendships I made along the way. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Adelante Abroad. They were so helpful before departure in making sure I was set up for success, and really ensuring my experience was going to fit my personal and professional goals. They reached out throughout my time in Madrid as well to make sure everything as going smoothly! I really loved my internship, the people were so kind, and I really enjoyed the experience of getting to work in such a unique setting. They made it easy in setting my up living situation as well, and it was amazing living right in the city center of Madrid. I highly recommend gonig through Adelante!

This was one of the best experiences of my life. Not only is Madrid itself one of the best cities in the world, but the internship experience was one of the best intern/company experiences I've had. My fellow interns, coworkers, and managers were some of the best people to work with and were always a reliable source to go to when I needed help or had questions. The apartment itself was also very well kept and clean. The only downside was that the stovetop had a burner that did not function, but all other appliances that you could need were provided in both kitchen and room. Overall, the internship and life experience provided me with some of the best times of my life, and the people I met and worked with are some people that I hope to keep in contact with for long after this internship.

Adelante gave me the incredible opportunity to work with industry professionals in my field. I worked directly with professionals in my field and was fortunate enough to get to work with my first choice company. I was also able to make friends with all of my roommates and other's I met through networking around Madrid.

I would like to update my review about my experience with Adelante - I spent the first month of my trip living in a non-air-conditioned room that was actually assigned to me from the Spanish School nearby, Eureka. The last two weeks of my internship were spent taking classes with Eureka, and these two weeks of Spanish school are part of the deal that Adelante coordinates for you. Unfortunately, I had spent my last two weeks taking Spanish classes with Eureka rather than my first two weeks in Madrid, which is not what is advertised by Adelante. However, I believe this was the case due to the fact that most Spanish businesses are taking a break during the months of July-August; I also speak Spanish fairly well so this wasn't much of a problem, but this is something to keep in mind. To reiterate my point, I am updating my review because I realize that my "no AC complaint" was mostly out of Adelante's hands. Additionally, my negative experiences with the boss of my work placement aren't completely in Adelante's power as well, as Adelante's main job is to secure an internship placement, and I assume that they weren't made aware that my boss would make my work experience unenjoyable prior to placing me there. Adelante has also reached out reimburse my software license that I paid out of pocket, which I appreciate. In hindsight, I had a much better experience in Madrid than I initially described in my first review - if I could do another internship or job abroad I'd do it in a heartbeat, because any big city in Europe has a ton to offer, especially when you are young and developing your career and interests.

My internship in Madrid with Absolute was a life-changing experience. I gained invaluable professional skills and had an incredible time exploring the city. The support from the Absolute team was fantastic from start to finish. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to intern abroad!

My time abroad in Madrid with Adelante abroad was an amazing experience. I couldn’t have been more grateful with the organization I was placed with, and the friends I made with others in the program. Being able to go to work with easy access to the metros and busses was perfect and added even more to the experience.
