The program is very well organized, they help to refine your resume, find the internships, set up housing, pick you up from the airport, and even plan events while you’re there to get a feel for the city you’re in. Such an amazing experiencd

Entering Beyond Academy, I felt a bit apprehensive. However, it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. The program helped me forge new friendships and connections while providing invaluable experiences. Although I believe my specific program could have benefited from a stronger scientific focus rather than a marketing one, my time here was immensely worthwhile. Brooklyn, the area coordinator, was amazing. For its first year in Amsterdam, Beyond Academy has been a resounding success.

Overall I had a great time. It was fun working abroad and not knowing anyone. The activities that were planned were fun and interesting. I met a lot of cool people and made some new friends. Brooklyn was super nice and funny, and could not have asked for a better advisor/person.

Brooklyn was amazing at getting everyone settled and welcome. The events she planned were so much fun and brought people together quickly. She was also quick to help when I was ill. My internship was very interesting and I enjoyed learning from my experiences. I was able to make mistakes, explore, and progress. This provided a lot of motivation for the next steps in my professional career. I would highly recommend this program to anyone wondering what it’s like to live in Europe, or specifically the Netherlands.

My internship is about digital marketing where we are taught more about the basics of PPC and SEO. Aside from the technical knowledge and skill I had, the mindblowing part for me is the visits to cheese markets, wooden shoes, canals of Amsterdam, and masterpieces of Old Masters. My IGS mentor also promised me a letter of recommendation and I am so excited to apply what I learned. :D

I've been to some internship as I hoard experiences and travel opportunities. can say that some intern programs are just meh, but this one is beyond average. looking forward to doing more internships maybe next time in southeast Asia or maybe in Latin America.

when I think of the Netherlands, I used to think about EU or windmills something like that hehe. I don't have solid idea as to what it's like there. this internship made me realize there's so much more in the Netherlands. ppl are welcoming and cheerful. my workmates are easy to deal with. and the climate is awesome, not too hot, nor too cold.

my co-inters are a good to work with. Experience is just ok but its nice to do these things once in a while. Tnx to igs for a good placement. they reply asap and answer to my concerns via videochat. I met ppl of diff backgroundz and nice cultures.

For track two, ms. shiela assigned us to cover politics for a community newspaper. Was able to interview a Filipino politician about his stand on divorce. Honestly I don’t agree but i respect everyones opinions. also covered a protest in manila's town centre. Philippines is a great country to visit nevertheless.

I am grateful for this internship. I was assigned on Track One, and I worked for a political advocacy group. I am very particular about women’s rights and human rights in general so I was very excited to work with NGOs that support those causes. We were tasked to draft bills and witness some assemblies. I wanna be government official one day so this is a great start.

So, during coronavirus pandemic I have fulfill one of my biggest dream. I have visited Europe, yet, it was arduous to do. My journey started almost a year ago, I met my boyfriend who is the citizen of the Netherlands. We have been doing ling-distance relationship for 6 month already. We have been struggled with pandemic and rebooking our holidays in Turkey. BUT! The government of the Netherlands are the best! They have maid a special law for the couples. During September/October I maid a decision to visit my boyfriend and his family in Zoetermeer. From the one hand I have met the love of my life and fall in love more and from the other I have fall in love to the best country in the world - Netherlands. From the day I left I want to go back and I will!
