Biology Internships in England

I have had such an amazing journey with beyond academy. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, my placement program could not have gone better, and overall I had the best two months of my life. If I had to complain it would be about some aspects of my accomodations, which were not through beyond academy. They helped me find a place and booked it for me, but were not the owners of the building and thus were also confused by some of the occurrences that happened there. Beyond academy helped me to resolve those issues and even brought bedding when the accomodations forgot to provide any. This team is very good at what they do.

My experience in Thailand has been so fun! I got to see a lot of the major temples and sites that are a must visit. I made many friends with the other interns here. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They helped me with any questions I had or anything in general. Overall my experience was amazing, 10/10 would recommend to anyone on the fence about it! I would even come back if I could!

At the first day of my internship programme there was a orientation programme for 3 days. they told us about the property how they runs & which department is situated where in the hotel. I have completed my internship programme from JW Marriott. I enjoyed & learned various skills such as multitasking, Communicating, learning to deal with diversity & dealing with deadlines are diffrent when you are working for others. The internship helps me to enhance my skills in kithchen.

For students who are looking for the perfect abroad experience, I would highly recommend Beyond Academy. From applying to interviewing to my start day, Beyond Academy was extremely professional, efficient, and helpful. Beyond clearly cares about their student's experience, and I am no exception. I was given the perfect opportunity thanks to Beyond.

My internship experience with Beyond Academy was incredibly valuable, both professionally and personally. From the beginning, the program was well-structured and supportive, making the transition into a new work environment feel smooth and exciting rather than overwhelming. One of the standout aspects of Beyond Academy is the level of guidance and mentorship provided. The team consistently checked in, offered advice, and created a strong sense of community among interns. This made a huge difference, especially being in a new city and navigating a new industry. Their workshops and career coaching sessions were particularly helpful in building confidence, refining my professional skills, and thinking more intentionally about my career path. Through my placement, I was able to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment. I developed practical skills, learned how to collaborate effectively within a team, and gained insight into the realities of working in my field. The exposure to real projects and responsibilities helped me grow quickly and feel more prepared for future opportunities. Beyond the professional side, the cultural and social aspects of the program were just as rewarding. Meeting other interns from around the world, exploring the city together, and sharing experiences made the internship even more memorable. Overall, I would highly recommend Beyond Academy to anyone looking to gain meaningful work experience while also growing personally. It’s a great balance of professional development, support, and adventure, and it has definitely been a defining experience in my journey so far.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience, Anna! We're thrilled to hear that your internship in London was both professionally and personally rewarding. It's especially great to hear that you felt supported throughout your journey and that the workshops, career coaching, and community aspects of the program helped you build confidence and make the most of your experience abroad. We're also delighted that your placement gave you the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, develop new skills, and gain valuable insight into your chosen field. Experiences like these are exactly what we hope our interns take away from their time on the program. One of the best parts of an international internship is the people you meet along the way, so we're glad you were able to connect with fellow interns and explore London together. Those friendships and memories often end up being just as impactful as the professional experience itself. Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. We loved being part of your journey and can't wait to see where your career takes you next. Wishing you all the best for the future!

I had such a great summer with the Beyond Academy programme! From the very first application to them, they were always there to guide me and give me advice. I got some great feedback and help with my CV and some really good interview practice. The internship I ended up doing was a marketing internship with a theatre in Islington. It was so much fun! I learned so many skills, and gained a lot of useful experience. Especially where PR is considered! I'm already in talks for a graduate job directly because of this experience! The London coordinators were such great people and super helpful! They were also a lot of fun at the Beyond events I attended (of which there were a lot, and often were covered as part of the programme)! Overall, I highly recommend using Beyond as it is such a stress-free way to complete an internship, experience the culture of another city, and really stands out on a resume!

A program like this feels like its too good to be true. Especially when you consider I found them on Instagram. Regardless, it was one of the BEST experiences OF MY LIFE!!! The Beyond Academy staff was so beyond helpful with finding me a placement, getting me a visa, etc. Once I was in London (my placement location), the community team was there supporting me before I even set my bags down. Litterally, I had to call them to get my accommodation keys and they helped solve the issue in minutes! I could not have asked for a better experience with a better program!

This internship really changed my life in ways I couldn’t have predicted. I had the idea that it would be constant fun, constantly doing things and waves of excitement and learning. But it was a combination of those things, but it came with a lot more difficulties than I expected. However, I actually think that it was vital for my growth as a person and it turns out I’m grateful for them. I also got a full time job offer and I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish that had I not taken this chance. I will be forever grateful for it

Being able to work in a global city as robust and diverse as London allows you to meet so many different people from all walks of life as well as multiple experiences that are great too! Creating a good work life balance was crucial and it allowed me to enjoy being in the office as well as my time off to experience the city and all it had to offer!

It was a great experience, however I do think it is geared towards people with little to no work experience and did not meet all my expectations of learning something new in a new work environment. The best part was being able to practice my Spanish with my host family.

CIEE provided me with a great internship site, a clean and nice apartment in a good neighborhood, and gave me roommates who shared similar interests. The staff was extremely kind and helped me whenever I needed, and were good about checking in with me about my experiences

I recently completed a three-month internship organized by Beyond Academy, and it was an incredibly valuable experience, thanks to their exceptional support. From the application process to the end of my internship, Beyond Academy was consistently there to guide and assist me. The application process was smooth and personalized, with the team taking the time to understand my career goals and match me with a suitable internship. Once I started, they maintained regular contact, ensuring that I was supported throughout the entire experience. When the internship deviated slightly from my expectations, Beyond Academy quickly addressed my concerns, showing their dedication to my growth and development. The London team was particularly friendly and approachable, organizing diverse activities each month. They were open to suggestions and always had a Plan B in case of unexpected situations, like bad weather. This attention to detail and adaptability made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Beyond Academy went beyond simply organizing an internship; they were genuinely invested in my success. Their professionalism, coupled with a genuine care for their participants, made my time with them enriching and rewarding. I highly recommend Beyond Academy for anyone seeking a supportive and well-rounded international internship experience.

Living in London for two months was an absolutely incredible experience! From meeting people from all over the globe to experiencing the city’s history, I learned so much and explored so many amazing places. There was always something to do! For anyone who will be in London for the first time, I have two words for you: afternoon tea. Do it. Multiple times. It is divine.

Loved the London Beyond Community. Everyone is very friendly and sweet and had a really good time overall. The community coordinators were amazing and very supportive and fun. London is an amazing city just kind of expensive :/ other than that amazing overall

Beyond Academy was so amazing !! I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but after the first day meeting the other interns the nerves instantly went away. Everyone I met was so great and I had the absolute best time. All of the events were so much fun and it was a fantastic way to experience more of London. Definitely something I will always look back on and was an experience of a life time. I even extended my trip two extra weeks and wished I could have stayed longer. I definitely & highly recommend :)

Linguistics Horizon provided me the most AMAZING experience doing an internship abroad. I worked in a daycare in Peru assisting children in their everyday tasks. From assistance to placement, finding somewhere to live, ensuring I was surrounded by people of my age & demographic I can hands down say I reflect on this experience as the best summer I have ever had. 20/10 would do again!

My time abroad was a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Stepping out of my comfort zone forced me to confront challenges and adapt to unfamiliar environments, fostering resilience and self-reliance. Whether it was navigating public transportation in a bustling city, each obstacle became an opportunity for growth. As a marketing intern, my experience was both insightful and rewarding, offering a hands-on opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios while gaining invaluable skills in the dynamic field of marketing. Collaborating with experienced marketing professionals was another highlight of my internship. I had the privilege of working alongside seasoned marketers who generously shared their knowledge and insights, serving as mentors who guided me through projects

I was placed in a a dynamic company operating at the intersection of biochemistry, technology and medicine where I had the chance to work alongside with brilliant professionals. Not only did this program enhance my professional skill but it also gave me unforgettable memories.

Living abroad during my internship was an incredibly rewarding experience. Immersing myself in a new culture not only enriched my personal growth but also expanded my professional networks significantly. Through the internship, I had the chance to meet and collaborate with talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, forging lasting friendships and connections. Engaging with locals and fellow interns alike allowed me to learn from different perspectives, broaden my global outlook, and develop a more profound appreciation for cultural diversity. Overall, my time abroad was a transformative period that not only advanced my career but also enriched my life through new friendships and networks.

At first, when I was looking for a suitable company that would help me while I was doing an internship abroad, I was wary and afraid to trust any company. But I am very glad that I chose and trusted Beyond Academy because they met all my expectations. Thanks to your team of professionals for helping and supporting me throughout my journey. P.S Special thanks to amazing Stella and Izzy!❤️
