Students from medical schools worldwide are welcome to participate in our medical elective program in Ecuador, South America. At ELEP Volunteer & Internship Programs, we are very proud of our elective training programs because medical and healthcare students will be gaining professional experience by working alongside qualified nurses or doctors and Ecuadorian patients in a clinic, hospital, or medical NGO. Medical elective opportunities are available in Ophthalmology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, and Internal Medicine, among other fields. Our elective training program can be one of the most rewarding parts of your medical education. Our medical elective program in Ecuador allows you to learn about healthcare and medicine on an international level. Applications to our Medical elective programs are open all year round, lasting from 4 weeks up to 12 weeks.
