In this cutting-edge internship, Institute for Global Studies places you with a company leading the way in educating businesses on how to reach today's generation. The internship has two tracks: Track One: Work with a social media company that creates an online marketing presence. Work alongside industry experts who use the latest technologies and strategies to help clients find their niche in the market. Track Two: Work with a traditional company that wants to expand its social media presence in-house. As an intern, help in improving their online presence through market analysis. This position doesn't entail too much pressure since you'll likely join the team with the necessary skills to carry out your tasks. Host companies generally include major sports teams, ecotourism organizations, and other interesting businesses.

Volunteer as a fundraising and communications coordinator at a biodiversity research institute in Brazil. Help in raising international awareness about IPBio, conservation, and develop our communications by improving the website through adding content, optimizing social media, conducting targeted messaging, creating videos to recruit volunteers, and attracting more volunteers by posting adverts on different websites. Volunteers can also help contact universities by organizing courses or setting up agreements to develop the internship program; promote and market the institute's ebooks on biodiversity and wildlife; develop and implement strategies to increase funds by partnering with institutions, companies and other NGOs; or help in acquiring donated equipment such as audio recording equipment that can help in the development of research projects. Volunteers can also take part in fundraising efforts for the institute using our profile on an online fundraising platform called Global Giving. Ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the NGO is critical to the longevity of existing programs, allowing the institute, in turn, to develop new projects.
