We do not just take our standard programs and open certain dates to an older age group without changing the itineraries. Instead, we understand that older teens require a different type of program, and need itineraries with more challenges and independence to help them grow and encourage even more confidence in traveling. These programs are designed to nurture older teens and teach them to be more savvy travelers. Because as you grow, your interests and needs do too. They will also participate in community service projects with our Hawaiian partners, protecting animal habitats and fighting deforestation, sea pollution, and climate change.

The Florida Keys is a chain of tropical islands off the state's southern tip. They are home to some of the most incredible marine and wildlife species in the U.S. In this student community service and environmental stewardship program, you'll make a difference by helping restore coral nurseries, preserving the marine environment, learning about shark conservation efforts, and much more! You’ll also learn how to protect biodiversity and ocean life through partnerships with the scientific community. This Florida Keys student trip uses a service-learning framework. Our staff provides guidance and reflection on the impact of our work. Beautiful beaches and laid-back island vibes are just a bonus to this community service and career experience. Experience the thrill of whale watching at the Farallon Islands and learn to catch a wave on northern California’s iconic surf breaks. Our wolf conservation and adventure program takes place in the mountains of Colorado. We partner with a wolf sanctuary on important conservation efforts, including activities that directly affect and improve the lives of the 30 resident wolves. This unique experience allows participants to learn about these magnificent animals, have face-to-face interactions with them, and help a truly brilliant cause. When not hanging with the wolves, we explore the range of adventurous scenery that Colorado is famous for! Call of the Wild is an old RLT favorite and an experience you will not forget!
