THINK Global School: The World's First Traveling High School

Imagine spending Grades 11 and 12 living and learning across eight different countries. At THINK Global School (TGS), the world’s first traveling high school, students discover just how much the world has to teach them, broadening their perspectives and growing in confidence along the way.

Through place- and project-based learning, TGS connects subjects like science, history, and art to the people, environments, and questions students encounter in each host country. The same dedicated team of educators accompanies them across all eight countries, providing continuity and personal guidance as their surroundings change.

Each term includes a weXplore excursion beyond the host city, with experiences ranging from conservation lessons in Botswana’s Okavango Delta to biodiversity expeditions in Malaysian rainforests. Students also explore their own interests through Personal Projects and a year-long Mastery Project presented at a public symposium.

TGS’s small community allows educators and advisors to know each student well. Weekly advisory supports academic progress and personal wellbeing, while individual university and career guidance helps students explore possibilities for their future. Students earn a WASC-accredited American diploma, with need-based, sliding-scale tuition helping families from a range of financial backgrounds take part.
