Jewelry Design Degrees in Italy

The one-year Master's Course in Jewelry Design will provide you with a general, cross-industry overview of market trends, covering everything from luxury to contemporary jewelry, with a focus on global business dynamics. Taught in English and practice-based, it will enhance your skills through theory and real-life experience in designing new collections. Over eleven months, you’ll study creative design methods and then delve into manual and digital tools for technical drawing. You’ll also practice techniques in a real goldsmith's workshop, and deepen your knowledge of advanced design software tools and rapid prototyping. Your dissertation project will involve producing and marketing your own jewelry collection, which expresses and conveys your identity as a designer. Starting in November, this master’s course has been designed specifically to meet the needs of students and professionals in the jewelry industry who need specialist training and to develop their know-how through new approaches to research and design. Prerequisites include an undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of two years of professional experience in the field is also acceptable.
