This is a unique, tailor-made learning and living experience integrated with the academic quality of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Our customized programs are for institutions and agencies that want to provide groups of international students with an educational experience at a university of international excellence. Participants study on the main campus just outside the city or at a campus in central Barcelona. Individual programs are tailored by selecting from more than 100 elective subjects in English or Spanish across areas like Business, Communication, Medicine and Nursing, Law, Arts and Humanities, and Spanish and Catalan Language. Guarantee maximum flexibility! Programs are available all year round, with flexible timetables and no minimum duration. Students can add accommodation, meals, transport, cultural visits, and leisure activities.

This program is perfect for students with intermediate-level or higher Spanish skills who seek an authentic and immersive experience. Away from the crowds of American students who opt for more popular destinations, like Barcelona or Madrid, with us, you will find yourself fully immersed in the Spanish language and culture of La Coruña, Spain. At the beginning of the semester, you can optionally take an intensive Spanish language course to help prepare you for the semester abroad. You can take classes in your field of interest at an accredited public Spanish university. Most classes are taught in Spanish alongside Spanish students. While some courses are offered in English, we highly recommend taking on the challenge of studying in Spanish. If you need additional Spanish practice before the semester starts, you may combine our Summer Spanish Immersion program with the semester or year abroad program. You will be issued an official transcript, and we can assist you with obtaining transfer credit at your home institution. Adding a customized internship at a Spanish company alongside your studies is possible.

An innovator in international education, SLU-Madrid is home to students from the United States, Spain, and more than 50 other countries. Saint Louis University is a Jesuit institution with campuses in St. Louis, Missouri, and Madrid, Spain. The Madrid Campus offers 15 fully accredited degrees you can complete, including business, communication, international relations, psychology, marketing, computer science, and more. You can also begin more than 70 different SLU undergraduate majors in Madrid and then transfer to St. Louis to complete the programs. SLU-Madrid also hosts study-abroad students from over 150 universities in the U.S. and worldwide for a summer, semester, and academic year. With centrally located campuses, housing placements, and an on-site staff dedicated to student support, it is easy to navigate the city, feel at home, and immerse yourself in Andalusian culture. Cultural activities, group excursions, and 24/7 emergency support are included to help students make the most of their semester abroad. An optional internship for academic credit is also available. By substituting one course with a three-credit internship, students gain practical experience that enhances both professional and linguistic skills. No prior knowledge of Spanish is required.
