This is a unique, tailor-made learning and living experience integrated with the academic quality of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Our customized programs are for institutions and agencies that want to provide groups of international students with an educational experience at a university of international excellence. Participants study on the main campus just outside the city or at a campus in central Barcelona. Individual programs are tailored by selecting from more than 100 elective subjects in English or Spanish across areas like Business, Communication, Medicine and Nursing, Law, Arts and Humanities, and Spanish and Catalan Language. Guarantee maximum flexibility! Programs are available all year round, with flexible timetables and no minimum duration. Students can add accommodation, meals, transport, cultural visits, and leisure activities.

This program is perfect for students with intermediate-level or higher Spanish skills who seek an authentic and immersive experience. Away from the crowds of American students who opt for more popular destinations, like Barcelona or Madrid, with us, you will find yourself fully immersed in the Spanish language and culture of La Coruña, Spain. At the beginning of the semester, you can optionally take an intensive Spanish language course to help prepare you for the semester abroad. You can take classes in your field of interest at an accredited public Spanish university. Most classes are taught in Spanish alongside Spanish students. While some courses are offered in English, we highly recommend taking on the challenge of studying in Spanish. If you need additional Spanish practice before the semester starts, you may combine our Summer Spanish Immersion program with the semester or year abroad program. You will be issued an official transcript, and we can assist you with obtaining transfer credit at your home institution. Adding a customized internship at a Spanish company alongside your studies is possible.

Welcome to the capital of Spain! Home to 4 million, Madrid is the primary center for politics, business, and culture. Spend a semester with easy access to Barcelona, Portugal, France, and many other iconic destinations. Home to the Prado Museum, Madrid offers you the chance to experience the works of Picasso, Dali, and other Greats! Study Liberal Arts, Business, Spanish, or Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), a public university with more than 19,000 students. You have the opportunity to take courses at two different campus locations; each campus is about a 15 to 25-minute train ride from Puerta del Sol in Madrid. You can also take courses at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, which offers a wide range of academic subjects taught in Spanish and English, such as art history, cultural studies, political science, and sociology. Sunny Madrid! Spain's most populous and capital city is arguably also the most well-known. It has a population of 6.7 million and is the second-largest city in the European Union. It is the country's political, economic, and cultural epicenter, located in the central region, right off the River Manzanares. Madrid is a European city with the highest number of trees and green surfaces per inhabitant and the second-highest number of aligned trees in the world, with 248,000 units, only exceeded by Tokyo. Its citizens have access to a green area within a 15-minute walk. Since 1997, green areas have increased by 16%. Presently, 8.2% of Madrid's grounds are green areas, meaning there are 16 m2 (172 sq ft) of green area per inhabitant, far exceeding the 10 m2 (108 sq ft) per inhabitant recommended by the World Health Organization. As for culture and the arts, Madrid is considered one of the top European destinations concerning art museums. Best known is the Golden Triangle of Art, located along the Paseo del Prado and comprising three major museums: the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofía Museum, and the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum.

This program is geared toward students with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Computer Science major or minor. Courses in both tracks fulfill computer science B.A./B.S. requirements, and internship placements are available in English or Spanish. During the semester program, take up to 15 credits of computer science courses along with other English-taught courses and Spanish language courses. All computer science courses fulfill computer science B.A./B.S. requirements. The summer and semester programs allow you to gain an international perspective and hands-on internship experience. You can also take English-taught courses at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The program is offered in partnership with the prestigious Fundación Ortega–Marañon in Madrid and the University of Minnesota. You will take classes in the central part of Madrid, near Plaza de Sol, making it easy to catch public transportation to any other city.

The SSA STEM program is designed to allow you to complete coursework in English as you gain an understanding of Spanish culture and language. It has been designed for students who are passionate about advancing their knowledge in science and technology. The key areas available are: Audiovisual Systems Video Art Music Technology Electrical Engineering Digital Systems Artificial Intelligence Telecommunication Networks Communication Technologies Robotics Computer Engineering Biomedical Engineering Computer Vision Experience Barcelona's typical hustle and bustle on La Rambla. Spend an unforgettable semester studying in Seville, one of Spain’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities. Through GlobalEd Abroad, students can choose from three academic institutions: Universidad de Sevilla, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, and EUSA University Center. Each offers quality courses taught by experienced faculty to support both academic and personal growth. Students can enroll in subjects across the humanities, business, communications, sciences, social sciences, engineering, and more. With centrally located campuses, housing placements, and an on-site staff dedicated to student support, it is easy to navigate the city, feel at home, and immerse yourself in Andalusian culture. Cultural activities, group excursions, and 24/7 emergency support are included to help students make the most of their semester abroad. An optional internship for academic credit is also available.
