Volunteer Programs in Faro, Portugal

Combine a minimum of four weeks Portuguese classes and volunteering in this Study + Volunteer Program in Portugal. You will attend 15 hours of classes, each lasting 50 minutes, in a group of not more than 18 students and an average of 4. Group classes are based on current level of Portuguese, so complete beginners are welcome to join. Lessons focus on the four language skills: listening, grammar, oral, and written comprehension. You can either volunteer in the afternoon after your morning group Portuguese classes or after you complete your language classes and volunteer orientation. Common placements include childcare, helping the elderly, and assisting in community centers.
