Historic Preservation Volunteering in England

Through World Internships, land a history-related placement in London. Home to some of the world's literary greats and historical figures, England’s capital is an ideal setting for internships within the Humanities. In the History internship, you may find yourself performing archival research, working on research projects at an English university, contributing to historical journals and genealogical publications, or working at a museum or gallery. As a historic literary and cultural center, London is home to some of the oldest cultural organizations and monuments in the world. While here, you will gain exceptional professional experience and have plenty of time to explore diverse attractions. You can also head out of the city and travel to other parts of England—even Europe. Make sure to save enough time to join excursions, group reflections, and a British life and culture course. This program is also open to volunteers.
