The placement is at an orphanage center in a children’s hospital, where injured and sick orphans are sent to receive better medical treatment. These children come from other orphanages in rural areas and, with your love and care, you can help them through their recovery. Volunteer responsibilities include: * Assist with daily operations such as preparing food, serving meals, cleaning, and arranging activities for the children * Teach English to the center staff. As a reputable orphanage in Shanghai, it receives loving overseas parents who want to adopt Chinese children. If you can help improve the staff's English skills, we can see a brighter future for the orphans as there will be more thorough communication between them and potential adoptive parents.
