Full-Time Volunteer: Wildlife Animal Caregiver

Volunteer abroad in Canada and become part of our multicultural team at Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary. Our 460 acres of natural habitat includes buildings and enclosures, where we rehabilitate rescued wildlife animals until their release. As an Animal Care Volunteer, you will take on varied duties such as: - Feed infant to adult animals - Maintain health and feeding records of rehabilitated animals - Complete animal intake and document information - Help with the transfer and release of animals into the wild - Handle other tasks as assigned from time to time We also welcome interns to support school placements or satisfy requirements for a course of study. This program is voluntary; hence, unpaid. We require 4 consecutive weeks of service during off-seasons and a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks between May and June, which are our busiest months. If you are on an internship placement, we recommend a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks to reach your learning objectives. . Contact us for more information.

I enjoyed some of the activites , but not others. The rivre walk and the walk to the koppies was 10/10. No intrenet was challenging , so 7/10. Jane , Precious , Patrick and Lucas were 10/10. I woul recommend this project to anyone who needs a detox from Social media.
